A lot of times I find hearing the difference in sound when comparing differences to be pretty subtle. However, there was a very clear difference in the warmth when the 50 slide was used. Really great dark sound. I was amazed. And I was listening on my phone speakers. Will go back and listen with headphones. I appreciate the content you put on this page. Very educational approach to your sales technique.
I would have liked to have heard the standard weight 42 slide against the standard weight 50 slide. I think what we're hearing on this end (obviously the bore makes a big difference to you) is probably due to the weights and materials of the slides moreso than the bore size. For my part, I liked the LT42 slide better on everything except the Rossini and the Wagner, where it started to get a bit brittle.
It doesn't look like it has the lead pipe Jay Friedman developed that allows the mouthpiece shank fully into the lead pipe, which would disqualify it as a genuine Jay Friedman model. Very strange.

Do you have any double trombone cases in the shop that you could review?
As a matter of fact, yes! I will put them on my list of videos to produce; thanks for the request!
Hi! Do you like more the Bach 42 Hagmann or the centennial?
Can you buy slides separately? Or do you need to buy both horns?
You absolutely can buy Bach slides separately! They don’t always have all of the configurations in stock but orders can be made fairly quickly...
