why does he go on a little bit on the throttle when he downshifts
its called a throttle blip. basically, it revs the engine so the engine speed and gear speed will sync up allowing the downshift to occur smoothly as race gearboxes don't have syncro gears like road cars which allow gear shifts at any engine speed.

RUclips and many other sites have been obligated to downgrade HD content because the enormous amoumt of people at home watching videos due to quarantine is putting an extremely big strain on the net infrastructure... there's just so many Gbps the optic fiber cables can hold
