I didn’t like it that much but the ending was super sweet and made it worth it. Robot Flower looking at her actions and Basketball blaming herself, telling RF that it was never her fault despite her anger towards the situation. It just hits different man.
Inspiring, now we go back to the trope of voters not voting for them because they just finished that life-changing character arc like many other contestants and have always nothing else to bring to the show but at least they are good now
The more sad part about this is practically nobody did notice the difference. Well her team did, but they never said anything too negative about it. The only person who did realize was Fanny, who wasn’t even originally on her team in the first place, practically proving RF’s point :(

That’s a pet-peeve I have about certain BFDI arcs in general, the start and end are great, but then it’s just a bunch of filler in-between. The start and end could be back-to-back episodes (like the weathery “trust issues” arc in animatic battle) and nothing would change, but that would be “too short” and “anti-climactic”. So rather than fill the “in-between” episodes with actual substance and/or narrative “rising-action”, they fill it with pure filler and characters passively whining/arguing with nothing actually consequential being said/done. Obviously not ALL arcs in BFDI are like this, but it isn’t a particularly uncommon thing either, and that’s annoying.

Hey. I'll like to mention some moments that are basically like building up to the arc. In TPOT 2, there's the talk between Basketball and Robot Flower when she's malfunctioning. In TPOT 3, when Snowball asks what people want in an amusement park, Robot Flower says "a porpoise?" In TPOT 4 has more, when Tree congratulates Two for having a challenge that preserves wildlife, saying that the botanical contestants are grateful. Grassy joins in and agrees, then Robot Flower joins too but Tree says he doesn't know if she counts for being a robot. Later during the climax, Eggy asks Robot Flower if she has a backup plan due to technically being a plant, Robot Flower mentions what Tree said. In TPOT 5, there's the talk with TV where he convinces her to betray the team.
You forgot a few scenes. Like in TPOT 7 when Robot Flower pushes Eraser out of the way, and Basketball is worried that she might’ve lost Robot Flower forever. And in TPOT 8, when Robot Flower lights Basketball on fire when Two and Gaty are having a chat.
Now that this story is over, I think Basketball has to tell the others about One, and on how she is not only the one responsible for the storm, but is also the one who kidnapped Bell, Bomby, Barf Bag and Needle, as telling nobody will only let One kidnap more people.
Reminder, Robot Flower literally solo'd (almost) an entire team, which genuinely might be the 2nd time this has happened. (The first being in BFDIA 11.)
