He choregraphed it with Brian Pupose. After the concert Brian tweeted about it along with the performance. They have worked together before, he also choreographed the dance he and Jimin did in the rehearsal room to "Own It" by Drake.
@@bmb1824 actually Brian posted afterwards and said he only saw a clip before but now that he saw the whole thing it was only the beginning and end that was his choreo. The rest was Jungkook

@@bmb1824 because he didn't with Brian. That insinuates they did all of it together. Brian made choreo for the song but jk ended up making up his own choreo. He just kept a small part which is why Jin said Jungkook is the one who choreographed my time

He was 15 Korean age but 13 international age. He joined BTS in April 2011 and was born September 1997.
The great thing about My time performance is that some prudish fans criticized the sauciness of it all saying that it didn't match the song blah blah blah, only to get hit in the face with the fact that JK himself choreographed the dance, picked the outfits AND unbuttoned the heck out of that shirt🤣 this is why we should always trust BTS on their artistic choices 😌☝
One small thing : he didn't pick the outfits (as he said himself)

A lot of people said this song is sad and were surprised when JK did sexy dance for this song. But the song already has the sexy vibe to it. It was gonna be the sexy song from when it was released. 🤷♀️
Those people are ridiculous. Many bts songs that are sad and serious, they end up having 'sexy' choreo. Bapsae, tomorrow, etc. And it's an r&b song so it matched the music so well ❤

Jin said on a korean show that JK choreographed my time (Brian Puspos once tweeted that he choreographed parts of the intro and the ending or that some of his moves were used so we know that JK at least choreographed the middle part. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong). If you follow JK you notice that JK‘s mind doesn‘t work that simple. He knows exactly how to portray feelings in a performance or use cinematography as a dancer, singer and video maker and editor himself. So I had many thoughts on the performance and was kind of disappointed that quite a few people thought it was sexy and that there was nothing behind it. I think everything in this performance has a deeper meaning. He sings "why am i alone in this time and space" while there are multiple illuminations of himself behind him. The spotlights used on him are kinda like holographics of clocks while singing "can I someday finna find my time“ perhaps showing the time running by as he grows up. During the dance break there are many cameras on him maybe to highlight all the eyes on him ever since he debuted. He has always been in front of the public eye while growing up. He had to be mature and take responsibilities since he was very young. If you think about it, he even made the right decision moving to Seoul with 13 years (international age)!! That’s impressive. The clock is set on 09.01 as the spotlight is on him which is his date of birth. At the end he stands in the middle and the dancers stand besides him so they kind of form a clock which shows 6.13, the debut date of BTS. JK said in an interview that my time represents him and he co-wrote the lyrics so I hope you will take your time and read them.
This concept of JK was quite new and his singing and dancing was outstanding so it made some headlines and ARMY lost it. He trended number 1 worldwide and in the US with over 2 mio tweets 😅
JK was basically asking himself what he missed out on because he never had his time to be a CAREFREE teenager. He started working at 15, trained and performed relentlessly, and has had to be responsible to his members and BigHit every step of the way. As an idol, his every action has been under scrutiny and he’s said himself that he is very aware that his small mistakes get magnified and judged by the public. There have been times when he was under tremendous pressure in the past 2 years (big hoohah in the media about him back hugging a tattoo artist in public during their 2019 break; and then having dined out with friends at a place in Itawon which was responsible for a new spate of COVID spread (he had to issue an apology although it was totally unfair criticism as there was no Lock Down rule at the time). He was also in a traffic accident and was criticised for causing it. JK basically likes simple things and used to take public transport to get around, which he can’t anymore. So he feels he did lose out on his freedom.

I agree about the “scandals” he has been in bc they’re so far reaching for the most part… this guys is just as beautiful on the inside as ye is the outside… he’s incredible and gives so much of himself for bts and army… just like all the members … but he said that this songs point is that even though he felt that maybe he missed out on the typical teenage stuff that he didn’t experience … and he felt that way for awhile…. But that he sees that he realizes that even though his teenage years were very different from the average person…. But he sees that he is fortunate to be doing what he’s doing… and how lucky he is for his experiences as an artist. Everything he does is just phenomenal … I love this kid

the dance break is usually the part that keeps the performance from being uploaded on youtube due to copyright, so people just cut it out of the video unfortunately

Euphoria and My Time is in repeat mode in Spotify. When I listened to Euphoria, I can relax at it's my go to jam but for My time, I kind of felt the sadness of the song. Hope that JK can really enjoy his life. Like what V said YOLO!! Thank you for reacting My Time.

Should have done jungkooks solo live of “begin” first bc it’s about all the members and his love for them and how he doesn’t have any hardships except for seeing them hurting or going through hardships. The performance is incredible bc the dance is nuts and footwork was wild. You guys haven’t done “euphoria” either of his and both of those are live and should have done these first bc they all lead into each other. He does something super special for army’s during “euphoria” that is epic. Hope you’ll do them sometime and appreciate our youngest member . Fun fact is that JK does a similar air guitar in “begin” which connects the songs and also he mentions being in the air which connects to “euphoria” and that high feeling you get which is euphoria... I love that !!!

As usual I love your reaction. JK is my bias although I love all 7 members. JK's stage performance is amazing. When he performs he's like a beast but a cute bunny when off stage. It's so intriguing. Oh I know you should do the 3js performance ... it’s jungkook jimin and jhope doing dances together to a medley of 3 songs and they’re fire af in it... the dance practice is better so you can see them all performing instead of them zooming in and out like they do in the live....

But they take a lot of inspiration from MJ... jimin and jungkook do a tribute called Black and white and it’s Michael Jackson style and they do a performance called “coming of age ceremony,” which is a tradition in Korea when they turn 20 that they do this dance cover to a song that’s older but most of it is talking about being ready to be a woman and the dance is pretty sensual... but anyway so for jungkooks birthday they were performing it for a show and most male idols will change the sexy feminine kind of movements but use the song and keep a few moves to represent the original female generalized choreo.... but jimin and jungkook kept a lot of the original choreo and added a little Michael Jackson style dance to the end part and for some reason it is SEXY as hell!!!! There is a practice video which seems that most people enjoy the practice especially but it’s definitely worth a watch.
ON:E concert is indeed heavily copyrighted so the footage on yt isn't that great in quality. Even the camera angles. There was THE MAIN CAMERAS experience (which is the best with heavy copyright) and then MINI MULTIBLE CAMERAS experience where you could pick any special angle you wanted (which often made it so that you saw the cameramen operating the stage in front of the artist)
Or the ARMY had to zoom in so much in the clip to avoid copyright which is a pitty since you want to see full body when they dance

Didn’t show but it was a clock that they formed. The only reason I hate when people react to the live show is that they way this was recorders is not really how it went on the day. They cut out and crop a lot of moves, change a lot of shots and it’s not as impactful. One example is filter, when I search for videos here on yt to rewatch that, you can barely watch half of the choreo, which was so bloody impactful on the day

The video that you watched has been heavily cut and edited to escape being copyrighted. Its not a good video to watch My Time performance. Why do people suggest these kind of crap videos? One day When BigHit Music releases this whole concert as a dvd, I hope you gals get a chance to watch Map of the Soul ON:E concert. This video does not do JK's song and performance justice.
