Looks to be a very lightweight but expensive option. I carry a Victorinox camper, which gives me two blades, an awl and half a dozen other tools, for about a quater of the price. Admittedly, the saw is a little shorter, but if you go to the trailmaster model, the saw is only marginally smaller, and it is still half the price. I think, as you seemed to say, the titanium saw is great to fill a hole in an existing lightweight edc kit. Personally, I wouldn't want to spend that much on a saw. Thanks for an informative video. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas, and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.
Got to be honest for the money I wouldn’t expect to have to tie para cord around the handle, admittedly no great hardship… have effect on the probably just wedged a bit of twig between the handles. as ever always enjoy your videos and thanks for the honest with you … and yes, I had to buy a smock.. happy Christmas to me 🤣
It occurs to me that perhaps by holding the saw in a saber grip it would be possible to grip and squeeze the handle putting pressure down the width of the handle rather than the thickness. In other words, hand pressure only in the direction of cutting, without the lateral pressure necessary to open the handle clasp. I don't know whether this is practicable but in theory you should not need to any apply lateral squeeze to the handle for cutting.
Merry Christmas Is that a " locking" blade? Is this blade interchangeable? And is it longer than 4 inches? I have a really good saw on my SAK, Farmer X. There's a really good saw on the 110mm SAK. I don't know that saw could replace my folding saw?
@outsidertank it looks neat, I was just wondering about the law, not that I care but some people do, especially the old bill. Different blades would make it even more versatile. You can't have too many saws, especially a lightweight one that you can throw in a bugout/bushcraft/day bag and forget about.
Hello! Yes, this is a blade with a locking feature, ensuring stability and safety during use. Yes, this blade is interchangeable, making it convenient for you to replace as needed. The blade's length exceeds 4 inches, with specific dimensions that can meet your requirements.
@ look at the effort it took to get through that little limb. You can hear it. The teeth aren’t properly designed to maximize each cut. Might work better as a small hack saw for E&E kits, but as an outdoor tool, or some sorta survival tool, nah. I’m not knocking you, I’m criticizing the tool. It’s titanium, I don’t have to look at price to know that gimmick is $100 (or pretty close) all day long.
@outsidertank I was just asking a question, if you want subscribers I shouldn't be insulting to them if I were you. I enjoyed the review, and if they ship to Spain, I may well buy one. However calling someone a Karen is a little bit childish especially when you don't know them and you are trying to build up your channel. Anyway thanks for showimg us something new and innovative, looks like a reasonable bit of kit and is, aside from Opinel, one of the most compact saws I have seen. Cheers.
I appreciate your time and effort in making this video but that thing is a hard pass from me. As far as EDC is concerned I’ll use the saw on my Leatherman Wave or Swiss Army Ranger. If we are talking carrying a tool then I’ll go for a Bahco or Silky or even my Milwaukee folder with a reciprocating saw blade affixed to the handle. Aside from that it’s pretty tough to beat my Agawa Boreal 21. IMO that tool is trying for 2 things that are inherently at cross purposes. Slim, “gentleman’s carry” and a saw. The blade looks suspiciously thin and the butterfly knife handles , especially made out of titanium, look like they would fail to lend girth to a blade that needs it
I appreciate your comment thank you for taking the time. I have many saws, the bacco being one, and i love it, no complaints. I also have a super wood riping bow saw. This little fellow imo and it's only my opinion, A tad better than any leatherman Saw. The blade may be deceiving, it is extremely tough and incredibly sharp. So it's kind lets say a luxury item. Defo Edc with its compactness . But I totally see your point. Thank you so much again for your comment. It's valued here.
If the locking mechanism doesn't work, they need to fix it. The tolerances for that price should be spot on, not loose and wonkey. Poor design in my opinion.
Not impressed at all.rather get a small axe. No good f the handle comes apart ,be honest, bad design. Don’t think that blade would last for long neither..also in cold weather, metal handle will be freezing. Get something else.

Thanks for watching Dai mate..
Should compare it to an opinel 12 saw. About the same size and weight and the opinel is highly effective for its size
If i had one i certainly would. I'll take look thanks man..
Merry Christmas tank.
Very pricey but does look a good bit of kit but I'll stick to my Asda pruning saw thing for 8.99
Nothing wrong wiv em, I used mine for two years. Merry Christmas buddy to you and the family...

Thank you Barry same to you and yours buddy...
Nifty design
Interesting tool. Happy holidays all.
Same to you!
I wander in what kind of situation this thing would be more preferable than something more substantial?
Well tbh, it's edc so same as everything else in an edc kit. Small jobs.

It's a 6.5 i nch blade Japanese carbon. It can be replaced brother. It's good for many tasks around camp and a lot lighter than most hand saws..

What smock is that?

For a Japanese blade it didn’t seem to cut that easily my leatherman cuts easier
Well as I said in the video " it's freezing " and we all know things constrict in the cold.
I think you need a bit of wd 40s on the blade
Everything constricts in the cold including timber...
