- Yesterday I released a few of my first round of young birds for the first time. Before I go further, let me say that all are safe and doing great. Soon after making this video, I tried to help them get inside and 5 of them took to the skies. Two just made two circles and landed, the other three, including the grizzle, flew anywhere from 3-12 minutes. The grizzle did not want to land and flew like an experienced flyer. ou wouldn't have known that it was her first flight. It was nerve wrecking. One of the three just disappeared for about 15 minutes and I know that he landed somewhere. Eventually he came roaring back and landed on the new loft. Today, March 15th 2023, I plan on releasing 3 or four more. Wish me luck!!
Like the view of the young birds

Great to see your young ones out my friend, I hope to get mine out in the next few days. good job and if you didn't get nervous then you probably wouldn't be normal!
I am not normal nonetheless!
Hello
I am really enjoying your videos. I live over by Spencer. I am wanting to get back in Racing Pigeon’s. Do you have any young hens or breeders For Sale?
Bob
Hi Bob, so good that you are close by. I am actually very happy that you are. email me at airchamplofts@gmail.com and I will give you my number. Thx.
you could use a concrete block and use 2 2x4 PT on the corner where u hit your head one on the front and one on the side like an L on the corner
Man tell me about it. I’m scared since I have to let my 4 out. It’s so many hawks in my area. I might let them out this weekend.
Where's the boxes in the new loft
Great question. I just installed them yesterday and was planning on doing a video tomorrow. Watch out!! They look great!!
How does that roofing material hold up to wind? I am planning to use the same thing for my kitbox, but am worried the wind might rip it off.
No problem at all. We get heavy winds here sometimes.
i’d love to get a bird from u i’m in massachusetts and have had birds for a few yrs need to build another loft before i get into racing
