My friend sent me the original version, and I said "The first 30 seconds were amazing, and then I just couldn't." Then he sent me this version and I listened to it front to back. Different strokes for different folks.
Every time I listen to this album I drown to forest and reunite with whole nature. Trees, leaves, swamps, waterfalls. Daytime summer solstice. And in night the picture is saturated with new colors. There is bonfire and this beautiful siberian snow... It's all surrounds you, you can feel all of these little details. You can even smell a smoke from the bonfire and strong tingling on cheeks from severe siberian frost. When you drown into river, its ice cold makes you tremble, but you can still swim to forest... I live in siberia all my life and I can watch this pictures every winter. And I don't want to leave this place because of this beautiful nature.
This album has become an absolute favorite. Awesome that there is an instrumental version. I love to listen this on mountain drives. The music is so expansive and beautiful.

"In the Morning" es un pedazo de melodía que te lleva a otro lugar. Elderwind es un pedazo de banda que sin duda alguna lo considero de lo mejor en el Black Metal Atmosférico.
@James I think the singer does a great job, however, I find the voice on this album to sound like cracking, as if it was recorded with a potato microphone, wich is sad because the music is beautiful
A lot of album of this genre gets more epic on instrumental version, not saying that vocals sucks, far from that thought, but instrumental music gets deeper as the music itself is a story telling with an interpretation of your own
I like the vocals from Elderwind. However, on this new album, they were mixed quite loudly and distracted the listener from the amazing music going on in the background. I am very glad the instrumental version of this album has been released. I can enjoy it thoroughly now.
This is friggin awesome. Love Elderwind, however this instrumental w/o vocals is killer. Love the classical music vibe and the pulling melody. Be nice if Cryptic Wintermoon did this!!
Excellent music. There are countless musicians I enjoy but most of the time vocals in any genre can destroy the content to my ears . Thanks for sharing this lovely instrumental album from Elderwind 🎶 👍 🍺

I wish more bands would follow suit like this and do instrumental works. This is great to listen to at the workplace.
Yeah. Ambient nature death metal is great. Especially without growl. I dont like this type of singing.

@James no, I like the vocals too, but this version is more ...calm. Some days I like the growl, some days the instrumental songs. That's life.
