@@juliawinx1962 6 years late but in this season we see the girls give usagi their powers so she could go super, but in the dream arc we learnt that supers upgrade was already a part of her power she just didn't fully unlock it in the 3rd arc. This is seen as the same usagi power help the girls experience for a brief time their supers upgrade however like her they still had to fully unlock it in the dream arc.
