I love runs of terrible games. That whole "there's me and this dude - we run this garbage" kinda vibe always gets me hyped.

this was my top 5 for agdq. 'There's no swimming in the lake of the dead. Also, the sign does damage".

I had this game as a kid. Just like they mention here, I was tricked by the cover art on the package and thus, as a 10-year-old, gladly spent all my birthday money, only to come home and have the single most disappointing gaming experience in portable video game history. Dreams were crushed.

So sad to hear, the dreams and hopes of the innocent snuffed; shit's dark.

I had this game! I saw all the panels but had no idea the goal was to collect all the stones. I loved the music.

He's literally lost for words explaining this game. That should sum it up

Had this game as a child and tried to beat it uncountable times but always failed due to the absolutely horrible controls. Glad nobody ever told me you had to collect all the coins. Super cool to see someone actually beat this!

Sharif was great, I look forward to more runs from him. He could get to PJ levels with that charisma, some work, and some luck.

This, Tetris, and Flintstones King Rock Treasure Island are some of the first games I ever played. I still have the copies with me at university. It's a shame that the contrast on my old GameBoy doesn't work properly and the console doesn't always load the games.
I never got past the mine cart section of the game near the start, so it was nice to see more of the game that I was never able to get to as a child

I always forget that the ZX spectrum had games made for it.

Wow... I thought I was juked when I bought Mario's Missing as a kid. This *might* have been worse. D:

What's crazy about this is that the Game Boy Color would eventually get a port of the original arcade game game.
...Not a remake... a PORT. In other words, they managed to take a full CD FMV game and reanimate it entirely on a tiny GBC cartridge. It's not absolutely perfect, but it's still an incredibly impressive feat and wildly more impressive than the original Game Boy and NES outings.

You say the EU version of Dragon's Lair: The Legend is better than the US version?
Well then, that is consistency kept from the NES game. :P

precision platforming is never a great idea on the game boy

Try that statement on _Asterix,_ _Wario Land_ or _Ninja Gaiden Shadow._ The stronger platforming entries worked just fine - this just isn't one of them.
