    Floating the small container in a larger container to keep up humidity is a nice trick.

      YEA! Mine are still growing too! You gotta keep them really humid! I would also maybe use a different soil when ready - something better draining IMO and then water often!

      Hi! So that little light has a 16hour timer BUT I tried to keep it on 24/7. So if I woke up in the morning and it was off I turned it back in again. They seemed ok with 24hours light.

    Did you soak your seeds on the cotton pads ON the heat mat or did you transfer them onto the heat mat after they had sprouted?

    • @adrianpoe4416
      @adrianpoe4416  3 года назад +2

      Sorry I don’t understand what you’re asking. I soaked the seeds for 24-30 hours just in a glass of water sitting on the heat mat, then transferred to pads. Then potted once they were bigger.

      I didn’t do anything to the seeds, but the seller may have. You should ask your seller. I didn’t visually see a clear sack of any kind but I did see where someone said to remove it. Sorry not a great answer lol.

      @JulietTurner1 3 года назад

      Adrian Poe That’s okay my seller just responded saying there’s no need to remove the capsules if you soak them in water to start with. Thanks for your reply!

    How are the plants now?

    • @adrianpoe4416
      @adrianpoe4416  3 года назад

      Rough. I stoped babying them and they’re crispy. Still trying to put off new leaves but I decided to pull one from the soil. It has root rot. Transplanted, not happy, one was so tall, snipped the top off, new leaves coming but overall not calling this a success. Getting more seeds and trying varying methods of growth. Aroid soil, sphagnum, leca and hydroponic with air stone. We will see how all of those get on.

      @@adrianpoe4416 try to put the little plants in a very small pot. The roots needs air. That’s my experience. In a big pot the soil needs too long to get dry again.

    • @adrianpoe4416
      @adrianpoe4416  3 года назад +1

      @@michaelh.1712 yes mine got root rot. I just decided to toss them as I don’t have the time to revive. Ordered more seeds and will be using leca. I believe the soil choice was a bad one. They need VERY well draining soil.
