Thank you for finally giving me the answer I was looking for. I took one krav class and I really liked it and the people in it. My mom thinks it's two expensive for membership, so I'm still looking around so thank you for giving me other examples as well.
I like that wrist grab thing, I tried it on myself and it's surprisingly easy to make the wrist uncomfortable enough to make someone go down, although I don't know how to do that to someone else.
Great analysis, it will more likely work for you, but always remember, it is not the style that makes the fighter, its the fighter that discovers their style....and the best way to do it is what you have in mind, trying it out.
im learning wing chun right. this looks similar to it. should i learn this after im done with wing chun? or is there a better compliment to that style? i was thinking tae kwon do but after seeing how direct and simple krav is im second guessing it. i also like the kicks this guy uses to the groin we have something almsot exactly like it in my school
Excellent !!!
it means contact combat. it's designed to stop the atack. groin kick is the best way of doing it, of cours it is combined with other kicks but try something with your friend, girlfriend or who ever you want. you choke him/her, it doesn't have to be strong, just hold their neck. then they will kick you in the groin and you just try to hold your hands on their neck. im pretty sure you won't be able do that :)
1:47 this is one of the sexiest ans simplest reverse arms bars i have ever seen. Like most fighting techs Krav will become overly complicated for show. This video shows the best combination if "overwhelming fast violence". I love this vid. I have been watching practicing and studying it for 4 years. Why do all form develop into overly complicated waste of time? Brazilian Ju and police training have all transitioned intothis as well. It is a trend that no martial art has been able to defeat.
It might also mean poke him in the eye. The first part where the attacker comes with a gun the demonstrator protects himself by turning the gun to his friend to disarm the attacker :D
Does the technique utilized vary based on the gender of the opponent? Just curious. It's always males depicted as being the attackers, but I live in a pretty bad part of town where people of all kinds can be a threat, and I'd like to know if this stuff would be effective regardless, or if I should switch things up if it's female. thanks
this is cool and all, but the guy is substantially bigger in size, i would be even more impressed if the smaller men were able to shove around the guys like this. Many people wouldn't backstep and flinch so much to a jerky off balance nutshot. Krav Maga is more structured and many of the attacks are targeted at a specific area then quick random blasts everywhere, i understand this is a demonstration and all but some parts are very very exaggerated. But its more for showman ship and i understand that, i just dont want people to view that this is how krav maga practitioners fight. 2:122:07 are just some examples of what im am talking about. Note: some of the moves shown in this video are legit, but many of them such as him pushing the guy back around 5 feet or kicking the gun in his shin while he is down rather than his head...
Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, India, UAE, Saudi, Kewait, Oman, Iran, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Peru, Chile, Etc, etc. You can find violence if you look for it. You can also avoid it if you want.
Thanks for a great display. I'm gonna share this vid to show all my friends what KM is, it's hard to explain because many of my MMA friends can't understand why I don't compete. @micheal li. KM takes moves that work from every source, it incorporates them into itself for max effect.
Krav Maga looks deadly lol I don't know much about martial arts, but surely offensive based combat can only be effective against other offensive based combats or untrained fighters.. But if they were to fight against someone who was reasonably trained in both offence and defence, compared to Krav Maga who would be highly trained offence, the mid level trained offence and defence would possibly come out on top? As I say I know very little about it or fighting in general, I'm just going on what I've seen, and Krav Maga seems to be focused on a very quick heavy attack designed to neutralise an opponent before they've really had time to realise what's happening.. Tbh I'd be amazed if anyone had the stamina to keep that up for more than a minute or so it looks pretty intense
Yes I agree. However, when Krav Maga was developed, it was developed specifically for the reason to bring down the opponent quickly and efficiently. It is not a self defense system designed for drawn out fights like Karate is. Also, it is a very heavily defense-based fighting style. You don't attack people with Krav Maga, you defend yourself and neutralize the opponent. It is used by oversea's Special Forces for terrorist take-downs, and is usually extremely brutal.
Theoretically you are correct. But I know the fellow doing the demo and he was a high level free-fight and kick-boxing competitor and is more than a hand-full against anyone, however they may have trained. He can do what he shows.
In my opinion the best martial art for a women to learn in Tae Kwon Do because most of the attacks you do involve your legs. Women have more power in their legs then upper body strength. Right now I take Tae Kwon Do classes and have learned self-defense. Just my suggestion....
Actually, it means do whatever the fudge you can to knock the opponent either dead or unconscious. If he was fighting a girl, he'd probably punch to the chest region. Not kidding, attacks like that hurt.
Really??? I mean, I would never test it out on anyone, but it's just a little hard to believe since I've never seen anything of the sort. I wonder why it's so hardly known. In any case, thanks for the advice. Gives me a little bit of ease knowing that it will work on Anyone who isn't using some form of protection. Guess we're all fragile creatures in the end! Also, lol @ the sparring session :P
This is not even safe for both people. Its just punching and kicking which is the part that is not safe! Not because it hurts and all that.Ex:at like i 0:44 It is because the attacker can use techniques to avoid that and pin him down break his arm and do whatever he wants to do to the guy that is "defending himself" I didn't know what this was but now i do and it seems dangerous to practice. Personally I think Aikido is better because if someone tries using this on me they be dead and im 16!
I don't want to come off as an ass hole or anything, but I personally felt the disarms needed some work, especially with the firearms. Not to mention the amount of time he spent pummeling his attacker on the ground, you need to do it and go, either kill him quick or put him down and leave (or focus on other potential threats.) Just my observations, no intentions to offend.
It's not about strength in Aikido anyone can do it. It was useful to a 50 yr old man i knew tht almost got robbed by two men at a gas station. He wasn't strong but he used Aikido and they were arrested.
Probably one of the best Krav Maga demo-video on RUclips.
Great techniques and nice realism and location.
Thumbs up for Franck Conejero

This guy is excellent! He has fantastic kicks! Best demo on this system I have seen in a long time!
Great demonstration! Respect to the defender, and especially the attackers! Technique is good, keep up the awsome work guys.
Awesome demo and application!! Definitely wanna see more!!!
Thank you for finally giving me the answer I was looking for. I took one krav class and I really liked it and the people in it. My mom thinks it's two expensive for membership, so I'm still looking around so thank you for giving me other examples as well.
One of the best videos. Very realistic.
Excellent demonstration! I look forward to meeting you in Spain, later this year!
Sur cette vidéo, Franck CONEJERO, 4eme DAN de KRAV MAGA.
Eleve de Richard DOUIEB.
Un super combattant, très sympa!!!
Semplicemente PERFETTO!!!! Complimenti!!!!!
I like that wrist grab thing, I tried it on myself and it's surprisingly easy to make the wrist uncomfortable enough to make someone go down, although I don't know how to do that to someone else.
I have just completed 2 years doing krav maga. It feels so good
En que sentido?
Excellent demonstration.
those guys are actually all three krav maga teachers here in montpellier south of france, I've been training with them for three years now
Bear hug, it gives you an easy take down to the back mount position
Great demo vid, I was looking to see what kinda martial arts I was gonna take and this def helped me pick. (Hope that dude was wearing a cut :P)
2.14 I could watch that all day. Hillarious.
Excellent Demonstration.
@Sodiaan D'accord.

Krav maga Cherbourg
What is the best place/way to trian krav maga? I dont have anyone to practice with and i dont think there is any lessons near where i live
Excellent !!!
nice demo, looks like its supposed to look when carried out
sur la video tu as
» Franck Conéjéro
» Jean Galvez
» Kevin Gallego
is there any technique in krav maga without kick to the balls?
I'm a young women, I want to learn some form of fighting/ self defense. Is this the best thing for me to start learning?

What I love to see: Person A, going about his/her own business, attacker jumping them, attacker getting ruined.

What the hell did I walked into?! This fighting style looks real!
This is just a never ending fight.
does krav maga means groin kick?
Guys its a training video??
I like the fast paced action, though I am not sure at times what scenarios he is defending from? A simple punch, grab, knife attack ? Too fast maybe.
I like this technique of fighting it's hard for an unsuspecting aggressor to defend against.
It might also mean poke him in the eye. The first part where the attacker comes with a gun the demonstrator protects himself by turning the gun to his friend to disarm the attacker :D

"Just as much"? So you've had both sets of equipment to compare pain levels?
Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, India, UAE, Saudi, Kewait, Oman, Iran, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Peru, Chile, Etc, etc.
You can find violence if you look for it. You can also avoid it if you want.
Just watched the movie Jack Reacher and I'm pretty sure he was using krav maga
Combien de blessé pour cette vidéo ? :p
Pas mal en tout cas
Very nice for street.
Rex-quando comes to mind.
J'adore !^^
muy bueno...
2:48 "hey buddy I think you dropped your knife!" KICK

00:53 best combo
Simply defending yourself! Exactly. That's what Krav is for.
damn... he shows no mercy to his apprentices...
Krav Maga is used currently in the real world so I think you ought to revise your opinion. What if they are not in kicking range?

Moral of the story: never attack a man that's two times bigger than you
We do bad things to bad people.
Kida!
"Hey you got something on your shir--- UGGHGH OW STOP"
For some reason, the aggressor doesn't strike back. WTF????
What's he trying to do to him @ 1:30 ? o.0
......ever wonder if Kung Fu movies actually look like this if they didn't do the elaborate camera angles and soundtrack?
What about Serbia?
Niiiiiice!
Yeah !!!

Obviously. The techniques performed here are against close range gun threat.
3:40, he kicks the muggers ass so many times that they become friends, but alas, the muggers old friend gets jealous and brings a gun!
complimentis

holy crap! He is really hitting that guy. I bet he calls in sick tomorrow.
No it doesn't. THere are countries where people have no idea about guns, or carrying knives, or having a street fight, or even a loud argument.
found a school, not cheap, but guess its worth it. i heard the first few months are tough too, guess we'll see.
Contact Combat.
this exact same video is restricted to 18 and older wtf
how the hell did he get that guy to agree to let him do this
2:14
hmm point of a street fight is to win and not die... hence groin shots.. same thing they taught us in karate
The students know he is out of control, but those brave guys keep taking a hit. I got more respect for them than him.
Lmao! It is so funny watching how fast these guys go down... Imagine if it was the real situation!
ok whose next for the demonstration. everyone runs
This is like street fighting so its something anyone one can do
lol. I would imagine that this is far more realistic than any Aikido training you have done.
Krav is the real deal..this looks a little sloppy, but, Krav is not about neat technique, its about surviving any encounter like these...
I don't want to come off as an ass hole or anything, but I personally felt the disarms needed some work, especially with the firearms. No groin, no Krav Maga
Impressionnant, surtout quand il vole l'arme à l'autre
Fucking awesome!!!!!! I want to learn this!!
do not look like self defence, but aggressive attack
