The UK government introduced a bedroom tax whereby if there was a spare bedroom in the house it would incur a higher rent. I'm not sure if it only applied to council houses or not, but it was another rung on the ladder of control. They said that people could easily avoid the tax by downsizing to a smaller home. The problem with that was, there were no smaller homes for people to downsize to.
Will the government give up their homes and homes they are renting to others. We need to stand up for our right. We the Irish show ask more questions. Darren thank for the information we need to hear
Totally agree with delimiting property rights for foreign owners who don't live here at all and mass corporate owners here that have multiple lying empty for years for profit. Definitely needs to be done to them. And not the small traders
