A year after this review I purchased this iem. I did do a small amount of eq on the base, (did not take a lot), and really enjoy these with my play lists. Thanks!
I love your vidoes. Ive purchased olina and mele and the blon 3. Thanks for bringing high quality shit for us plebs with not a lot of money. Youre the GOAT, at least for me. Most trusted reviews.
The Aria is, from my experience, fine. I've had mine for a few months now. Worth the purchase. I really really understand the hype around the black/gold Aria. It does great on a lot of stuff. It's been a year since it's out, and it's still the benchmark in its price range. Stuck it on my TRN BT20S Pro. That said, I totally agree, it's just not meant for your library. Like you always say, it's about the music. Content, maybe satisfied, but not 100% happy.
I really appreciate you talking about the Aria because of how highly regarded it is. Would love for you to revisit and muse about the blessing 2/dusk too. I’m trying to make a case here for paying some extra attention to those kinds of sets.
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews That's a big bummer, having small ears this convince me Performer 5 could be more suited for me. My custom molded iem broke this month and I'll feel the downgrade on that aspect for sure.
The graph seemed almost identical to the chu, and my one major issue with the tune was it needed a bit more bass so the punch of some dance or rap albums truly have power (daft punk just doesn't have the bassy thump id want.. it had impact but it was less a thump and more a hit) I think I'm just a stinky basshead who needs Sundaras with a 11db bass shelf from ifi
I got theb shozy form 1.1 because of your review. My point of view. I ended up buying 1 more because for loud volumes they are perfect . Any other iem you recommended with the same tuning?
Thanks. Less bass (slightly) but more note weight (counterintuitive i know). I like the Snow more than titan S but i am not a fan of Titan or the OG Aria
Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews , man I love ur content. Thanks again for the work you do. Is this worth the money? Even though the bass doesn’t hit that hard? I’m really thinking I’d like it. Or do I just stick to the Kato which I ordered? How does it measure up to the T3+ from Tin Hifi? Also….my eye keeps catching the Vulkan…I pulled the trigger on the Kato, Shouer S12 and Tin Hifi P1 Max last week. But I’m already thinking of ways to blow more hard earned cash on the Vulkan, hahahahaa.
Did you receive your orders? I got Aria when it came out and I’m quite enjoying it. But I was shopping for something different, some more clarity and energy. Kato and S12 got in my shopping cart a few times in the process so I wonder how you like them if you got them :) I ended up ordering Softears Volume for the time being.
Hey! Would these be good for competitive gaming?? I use tygr 300r with zen dac v2 rn and also have beat fit pro, are these gonna be noticeably better or is it not worth the buy? I play apex, warzone stream as well
Hey man I know this is odd but I have bought ur olina from Amazon and within a month they stopped I replaced filters and everything but linsoul giving me the runaround
Hey 🤚sir about the tuning Crinacle show advice from fearless audio who can tuning an ime to whatever tuning you want so what you think about it. You can finally get the exactly tuning you want
There is a quite significant different between your, crinacle's and super review's graphs... all three between them are different.. unit variation seems to be above the threshold here.
I wish you one day could do reviews rating them from 50db. 77db and 90 dB the iems. I watch all reviews from all youtubers when comes to hifi. And I always read the comments and people they never happy with their iems because of to Bright or less bass. And that's because like you said. Volume counts a lot . In this way. A 5 star rating iem on 50db would be a 2 stars in 90db. The less volume the more upper mids and treble we need. The louder the more bass we required to bleed into the highs because they can be a bit too much. Sometimes bleeding into other frequency is good . When the other frequency is boosted because of the volume. In this case all people would know what is the right set to buy. Don't you agree
I too wasn't a fan of the Aria. Too warm. Lacking in treble sparkle etc. Surprised the driver type has changed the sound so much. One thing I loved about the Aria was the fit/and the fullness of the sound, but it failed to make me excited about what I was listening to
Well, I don't think it's just the driver swap. The DLC diaphragm should have a bit sharper/shorter attack & decay, but I doubt it would contribute to the changes in amplitude we see on the frequency response graph that much. I believe that they've also done a slight retune, probably via different damping scheme/configuration.
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews Was getting bored listening to Sultans of Swing. You know you don't have a very good iem for you if that doesn't make your feet at least tap away

Yup. Cable is better, SQ is too
I think that a set of Moondrop spring tips will be a selling point of this set, similarly to Chu.

Do you use 2 pin or mmcx with adapter for the Aria with the bt20s pro? Could only get it to work with mmcx and adapter.
I'm thinking to get one, it looks so good.
It does look sharp

Similar. Like the SQ on this better. I'm not a fan of Titan S at all.

No. I'd keep the T3+

I'm told by folks who got resin it cuts on resonance
