Thats amazing, last season was my first season ever, i skied pretty much almost every week in the winter and got quite good on the rented skis i had for the season, i was in the market for skis and at the end of the season i started doing some silly stuff aswell like tried to go switch, hit a few very mellow jumps or went a bit off piste etc so i was looking for some double tip skis that could do groomers but also outside of it aswell and these fit the criteria so much, i already bought them and seeing this video just made me reassure myself of the purchase. I cant wait for some snow but oh well.

No lie, I was in your shoes last season. Spent '21/'22 on rentals, progressed pretty quickly, and decided by the end of the season to invest in my own pair of skis for the next season. I bought the '22 Revolt 95s @173cm (no difference in construction) and spent all of '22/'23 on them. I'm 5'6 (170cm), and ~145lbs, and here's my takeaway on them:
I like to do literally everything on the mountain (pow, park, trees, steeps, moguls, jumps, etc). I like to be more on the playful and agile side of performance, and I find that -- for my stature and style preference -- the Revolts were slightly limiting in terms of agility and quicker turns (especially in tighter trees) and they didn't butter/flex as much as I'd hoped (again, this is simply personal preference. I'm kinda lightweight for my height). I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of stability, pop, and float I was able to get out of the Revolts tho. In my opinion it does really great on jumps and landings (and skiing switch!). Overall I'd give the skis an 8/10. The -2 comes from the size and flex of the ski, I ended up selling them for shorter, softer skis that could do what I wanted it to (after much thought). I think you'll really enjoy them this coming season, they truly are a solid pair of skis. Happy riding.

@@ellisandral9267 thanks for the review, i was a bit hesitant because im around 183cms and around 80kgs and bought the exact same length of 173cms my reasoning was that my rentals were even shorter at like 163 and what i assume even more flexy because they were like complete begginer skis, during the end of the season i think i found a limit on them because when i hit a certain speed i no longer felt safe on non perfect piste( we had a "perfect groomer" a very handfull of times and where we usually go skiing the later in the day the more natural moguls/snow packs/ice or even ice rocks of sorts form on the piste, tldr in one season i skied pretty much in every condition imaginable because it was just so much fun some "weather" wouldnt get in the way of it) and thought that even a slight change of direction would send my leg flying in another direction, this was also one of the reasons apart from just trying out everything for fun why i started to venture off piste into the pow and some interesting lines because the snow was just better there than on the piste. the rentals felt quite slippery too so i figured these ones will be a bit better in that regard because wherever i go i see people saying they are quite stiffer than other park skis and that was one of the reasons why i eventually took em because i dont want them to be entirely flexy i want them to be more stable than the rentals but i also want to try out different stuff on them i want to learn switch etc

    Hi Alex,
Did you mount your bindings at team recommended centre? I will mainly be skiing on piste and a little bit of park. Thanks.

i felt like they were pretty stiff, especially for butters. Do they get a little softer over time? Only rode them a few times last season.

That chipping is from when you cross your skis (or hit them together). Not build quality! I used to race fis races with 5 pairs of WC best quality skis per season. I would often chip my skis if I crashed or straddle a gate and hit my skis together while trying to regain balance. I have a pair of 2019 Volkl Mantra size 188 (I'm 178 cm tall) that I keep as sharp as race skis. They are almost as stiff as GS skis so you can really load them. They are a lot wider than race skis so you can put your hip to the ground in a turn on relatively compact snow without losing edge contact from your boots touching the snow. And they are absolutely amazing when it comes to sending it in soft and really rough powder. I keep my edges at 88° on side and 0,5° on bottom. A great all rounder if you want an expert ski!!
