If Food Lion had a music festival, this guy would headline.
Everyone has a story of where they were when they first heard a song they fell in love with. Well, the first time I heard “Rocksteady” was in 2005 while working at Borders Book Store in Waldorf, Maryland. That night before I left work I found out who the artist was, and I purchased the CD. Let me tell you, every song was pure perfection! You can feel the depths of Marc’s soul in every song especially in the songs, "Home", “Let Me Leave” and the “The Beauty of Who You Are”. This CD will always be a classic in my book.
I was just in Food Lion grocery store yesterday and heard it for the first time and used Shazam to get and I’ve been listening to all his music since then and let me tell you 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I love his music

I'll admit I first heard this song covered by The Duke's Men of Yale (great acapella version) but I like to know the source music, so I searched him out and was NOT disappointed.

I hated this song, but I can’t forget it after doing time in a grocery store. I don’t know why they pump crap music loudly in the back rooms of grocery stores, but it’s the thing they do. And now I have this schlock stuck in my brain.
