Well, it wasn't a runway, it was a street. Then, it wasn't car lenghts, as it was filmed with a wide angle lens, it makes it look like it's a longer distance that what it really is.
"with Farghini driving".... really? how hard is to step in the pedal? the car is an automatic, Farghini would do no worse than a F1 driver in that situation

KHD I think the 675 is likely putting out a bit more hp than its official rating; I think the 720 would make short work of the GT2RS.

Turbo S and 488 should have been coupes. Otherwise great stuff! Amazing grip with the RWD cars, I guess the surface was also quite optimal on the filming day?

The 675LT is not for ticketing/winning on their website.
Too bad the 911 turbo S and the 488 GTB were not the coupes. The ferrari would be about 50kg lighter and the porsche 75kg. Nice video nonetheless. PS: i would take a 911 turbo s.

Even if it was a 488 GTB, the 675LT still would've beat it. The Ferrari that can match the 675LT in a drag race is the F12tdf. Both have near similar power to weight ratios and near similar torque figures. They are also both limited edition cars.
the 991 turbo S wouldve beated the 570s if it were a coupe. on a scale the cab is almost 100kg heavier than the coupe. thats alot in a dragrace like this

The 675 LT still beats the F12TDF in a drag race. Ferrari supercars suck, when it comes to drag racing.
sidewaysswe the Porsche isn't as fast as everyone thinks, there was a video where an r8 beat it by car lengths in a stock v stock rolling start.
Point is both the Ferrari and the Porsche coupe are lighter then the models used in this drag race so yes it wasn't a fear comparisons as we know the Porsche coupe is faster both from 0-60 and 0-100.

GT2 RS is 400 lbs heavier, that's like carrying 3 extra passengers.
It also has a fixed picnic table wing on the back causing drag unlike the 720S which has active aero and can drop its wing.
Anyway, that the slow 720 model, just wait for the even lighter and even more powerful 750LT
Hopefully we will one day have a true competitor for the 675LT. The Aventador Superveloce lost. But I think the best match for the 675LT, and what I consider to be it's true straight line competitor, is the F12tdf.
Impressed with the 570s, for sure. Pretty car when in the right colors, too.

ben to be fair, Gt3rs is 720s rival and Gt2rs should be compared to the LT version of 720(when it comes out). But 720s is going to beat it anyway, that thing is an aero monster, it's as fast as a P1 and more balanced.

911 jumped GTR even tho it would win against it regardless, but still. and 570s jumped 911 after. 991.2 turbo S is faster than 570s in quarter mile period. 488 would be a draw to both 911 and 570s if not tiny bit slower, the only car could show slightly bigger difference is LT.

Reaction time of the GT-R against 911 Turbo S was painfully slow, was like 2-3/10ths slower, race was over before it begun. Would like to see a proper race where there is not such a massive difference in driver reaction time!
Them McLaren gear boxes are something else.

720S would be pretty dominant among these, and like somebody mentioned it would be very interesting to see the new GT2 RS among them.
Suggest you use the stop watch to gauge every car timing every laps. At least can check each lap's performance.

It is amazing how McLaren cars gripping of the line. I noticed that they stay flat pulling from the line, see difference between 675 it's vs Ferrari in slow motion. Rear wheel drive McLaren cars have same or better gripp of line than most all wheel drive cars.
Awesome video! Would've been interesting to see a 720s have a go. Judging by Salomondrins last video the 720s would easy beat the ferocious LT. Ferrari really has their work cut out with the soon to be released 488 "speciale".

991.2tt COUPE would have been a better car for this kind of race. The 720S waxes the 675LT so it would also be cool to see the next generation of cars in the lineup, including the Ford GT.;)

Did anyone notice they have to run the 570s & Ferrari a few times before the Ferrari won to advance. The 570 will is most cases beat the 488 but they can't show that or the won't get to test the Pista.

Simple answer: the car on the right always wins! Do a race with 675LT on the left and C63s right. Pretty sure C63s will win.

I think the GT-R for some reason have some AI that register when there is an 911 Turbo around, and if it sees one it always lower it's 0-60 ... since it's supposed to be faster to 60, but I never see it beat the 911, which is supposed to be slower, not even the 911 Turbo (non-S) convertible.
The figures did not suggest that at all ... the figures suggested the GT-R to win with a clear margin ...

The GTR is a 10 sec car, so I would've loved to see the times that all the cars ran. Then we would've been able to match them properly. Watch other videos on RUclips of the same cars and you'll see what I'm referring to.

Did anybody else notice the guy wasnt using the gtr in manual with the paddle shifters he was using automitic and that means he didnt have it on race mode or anything and the new gtrs gps knows when its on a track or not and when its on a track it turn the limiter off
The GTR can be set in R mode with the automatic, of course, and the limiter out of tracks is only for Japan.
The GTR is just a slug compared to these others cars. Stop making excuses
Love these videos! But I'm scratching my head as to why the 488 GTB was so slow (relatively speaking). I know it weighs more than the 570s but it also has 90hp more and barely beat it, only to get destroyed by that 675lt with only 6hp more. I hope Ferrari hasn't lost its way because right now, they are NOT the standard of high performing cars...

The 488 Spider is heavier than the 488 GTB, but the 488 GTB is also heavier than the 675LT. The 488 GTB weighs 1370kg dry, 1475kg curb, while the 675LT weighs 1230kg dry, 1328kg curb. The 675LT also makes 5 more horsepower, which isn't much, but with such a difference in weight, what did you expect?

570s can punch way above its weight, demolishes all its neat rivals, can compete with cars with nearlly 700hp. 720S will outrun everything except the holy trinity.

"Despite 10hp less..." - will people ever stop talking about horsepower figures alone while ignoring weight entirely? Ever heard of power-to-weight ratio? The Turbo S cabriolet weighs in at 200-300kg more than the 570, of course the 570 is faster in a straight line as long as it can put the power down.

The ferrari 488 competes with the lamborghini huracan/audi r8, and the 720s. People regard the 720s as some super fast machine(which it is) but its in the same class as the aforementioned. The 675lt is in a different class, competing with the 458 speciale and such. The ferrari can just barely edge out the 570s, speaking to the incredible engineering prowess of Mclaren. I doubt the 488 pista will be able to beat the 720s as far as straight line speed, and on a track it could go either way. Congratulations to you for recognizing that the ferrari offering in this supercar class was slow enough to compete with mclaren's lower tier of supercars.
