This quad has come nicely together. Looking forward to see it fly and also see how efficient it is. Btw. I didn‘t have that good experience with TBS. They just told me the issues would be fixed with the next batch and they couldn‘t say when. I will get back to them and ask again. have a great weekend
Awesome video Lee, I particularly liked your neat ELRS/Walksnail antenna mount (it gave me some clues for tricky antenna mounting situations). Given your obvious capabilities with 3D design, I was a little surprised you didn't 3D print an adapter plate to mount the Walksnail VTx to the existing mounting hole pattern, rather than drilling holes in that nasty carbon fibre. Sorry, I don't have anything to offer on the ViFly Finder; I've used one on a SpeedyBee F/C (as well as a few of the Mini versions) without a problem.
I really like your antenna mount . I had a similar situation with the capacitor I put a piece of shrink wrap over it so that the rubber would dampen and vibrations between the cap and frame nice build though lee
Thanks for doing this video. I have followed your previous series on the SpeedBee Master 5 and, with that, built my first drone. This is very nice as you went thru more of the enginnering approach with the different impacts of hardware selection. Just noticed that the VTX didnt have an additional heat sink like the SpeedyBee unit did. Interested if this impacts the heat dissipation of this unit. Also wondering how much battery size/location impacts the center of gravity versus center of thrust on drones, if this is much of a concern. Anyway looking forward to test flight results and any future design changes. I hope your weather is accomodating. Waiting for better weather here to fly my drone.
Hello Painless, idk if you meant for this but the video is still set as "hidden" on your channel and only available trough clicking on the playlist under the second video. I thought i'd let you know if you didn't notice or meant for it to be hidden. Anyhow, loving the video's as they very clearly show your thought process even for a experienced person in FPV they are enjoyable!
Hello Lee, I’m building a different project in Inav and wonder where you put the Declination for the magno in the Inav configurator. In Beta flight there is a field for it but can’t find it in Inav. Now just use the alignment tool yaw to gif it the +3 degrees for my location. Thank for sharing your knowledge. Wito
Hi Lee, looking forward to the fly and then the update to INAV 8. I have a similar 7 inch. Can you tell me the all up weight without a battery and what battery you are using? Thanks.
I don't play the games so many do with clickbait, livestreams and controversy to try to get enough views to turn their channel into a paying job. For me, it's just about helping others and sharing the love of a great hobby... Spread the word! Happy flying!

Awesome build, Lee! 😃
Looking forward to the flight video!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

I did consider that, however the extra height from a standoff would have impacted the available room at the back.... Happy flying
Always and I always learn new things from your video, sir. Best Nice Reference for Drone Makers and Pilots ❤🎉🎉🎉 Thanks sooo much for sharing
Great video! Thanks

Thanks. Cap is supported by a cable-tie so nice and sturdy.... Happy flying
Great video. I have the same frame looking to build up. Thank you. I may do 6 inch props and motors on mine

It is! It'll be public in a week or so. Thanks for using the playlists!

You shouldn't need to do that in INAV. It is A LOT smarter when it comes to use of navigation sensors. Happy flying!

Check out the first video in the series where I weight everything... 538g without the GAONENG 1500mah 4s 160c pack...
@@Painless360 Thanks Lee, are you planning an update to INAV 8 as part of the series? I thought they said they are releasing it soon...
I am, when they get it it. I'll porbably make a little video showing the process. It should be as easy as a DIFF ALL upload...
I don't get why you have so few subscribers 😢❤

@@Painless360And the world is a nicer place for it! Many thanks for spending your time doing this
Why not tri-blade props?
Each prop blade adds another set of losses. See my motor and prop series for details.... Happy flying
