How long did it take you from Uddevala Bridge (point A) and Svinesund Bridge (point B)? This ride from Sweden to Norway is one of the best videos ever from this channel! That "refuelling before reaching expensive Norway" is one of the highest points of the video ... And I feel thrilled when you're getting to the toll bridge and then ... "Welcome to Norway"! Because of your rides through Norway, my wife and I have become addicted to this marvellous country! You pick amazing songs as well, and these videos are captivating indeed!
I always figured that it would be nice if they decided around Europe to use ONE colour for motorway signs: either blue or green. But then the Swedes put BOTH. Right...
Swedish roadcollours: Green/white: Motorway and expressways Blue/White: Public road and regular roads Red/black/yellow: Private roads, roadconditios varries. Black/White: Other roads Brown/white: Road for tourists Yellow/Green: Natureroad
Few years back 80% of Swedish motorways on rural areas had cable barrier, and almost all of 2+1 lane roads (three lane roads with overtake lane for one direction for every few km) had cable barriers. So, I'll guess that's common :D
The E6 is a Motorway from Malmö/Malmø to Göteborg/Gøteborg and then to Norway Oslo i didnt Know that has Norway Toll 20 NOK 2.50 Euro that is Realy Cool
Still thinking that 110 km/h is too slow... Those Nordic countries have the strictest limits in Europe. Hopefully Sweden raised the limit to 120 on some parts... Thanks, great video
+Jules Koch Norway is a realy nortgph country, in southern norway where i live its beging to snow at the begining of november, and imagane the north... but it should be like 120 on summer if thats possible
Instantly when you enter Norway, you're being ripped off. One of the wealthiest countries in Europe and they're charging you to use the roads, which are paid by the taxpayer.
This bridge is actually tolled on both the Swedish and the Norwegian side, because both countries paid for the bridge. However, I do agree that the toll roads in Norway are egregious.
HI GREGORY POLISH FROM ENGLAND..I HAVE BEEN TO DENMARK- KOLDING..LOVELY COUNTRY AND FUNNY COMEDY WITH OLSEN GANG.....HA-HA I LOVE THEME....NEVER SEE SWEDEN AND NORWAY....I WILL GET THESE COUNTRIES.....I KNOW ....ENGLISH ....THERE ....VERY WELL...SISTERS AND BROTHERS I WILL BE BACK...TAKE CARE....
The music is aweseome and epic. Propably the best background music you can use when driving fast on a higway. The music kinda sends me into a trance and makes me imagine a giantic futuristic city.
In other countries yes but Forests is the opposite of wasted, wasted is what humans do with the natural land, destroying it for farming is probably the worst crime and waste of the land. If you said that about Germany it would be true but not Sweden. Only 5% is jused for farming and the rest 95% of sweden is mostly forests and a bit of mountains.
From Sweden to Norway ... what a ride!
Very enjoyable ride Chris; your presentation was well laid out. You had me feeling like I was riding in the car with you. A very fine job on this.
I like the Scandinavian landscapes with pine forests
Great music choice!
Refueling before reaching expensive Norway......Hahahahahaha:-)

Sweden uses green background in motorway signs and blue in other highway signs. And then white in local signs and yellow in small private roads
Same as in Switzerland.

2:37 Did I just see a truck carrying an entire house
They are like summer houses.
Nope, you saw house riding a truck
Those are cable barriers ?. In my country are very rare, almost only used in old bridges because they are lighter. They are common there?

My country has it too, but rare. It can be found mostly on Federal Route 194 (K. Perlis-Changlun Highway).
@@mikkoh5213 you will find such cable barriers on roads in poland too at the same system (2 + 1 lane), for example between Płock and Gostynin.

Här har man kört många gånger tidigare. 🙋🏻♀️

it's because of the enviroment. catalysts don't work well above 3000 rpm
Jules Koch sweden have roads with 120 km/h limit. But the "normal" speed for peapol driving is around 130-135 km/h on high ways.
+Jules Koch Norway is a realy nortgph country, in southern norway where i live its beging to snow at the begining of november, and imagane the north... but it should be like 120 on summer if thats possible
There's virtually no diesel that runs 3000RPM at 120kph. Unless you're in the wrong gear.
safety and the environment has always been put before speed in Sweden.
nice road n video
I bet Sweden's the most European country in Europe. I mean, heck, their flags have the same colours on them. 🇸🇪 🇪🇺
Similar in looks to the Western US. What was the music in this video?
Come home with Alpha 9.
wow cool

Why do you think they got so wealthy? ;)
