This song is older than the dirt itself, just because you “reimagined” it doesn’t give you any more right than you did before. I’d agree it would be more polite as to credit you, but ultimately, it’s their decision.

And the end of the day, the user decides what they want to do. They should include it because they are a nice person, not because they feel pressured.
