Wait, what? 320simpilot is a Boeing guy now, and 737NGdriver is now Airbus? I haven't been watching RUclips in the last months, when did this happen? Up is down, left is right, everybody is FBW now?
I would be more than happy to pay for any future updates like Navigraph and Simbrief integration into the Tablet and MCDU. Inibuilds went above and beyond my expectations for a "freeware" version of the A320neo.
Thanks for this! Super helpful. You make it look easy. Been trying to get RNAV to work with NZQN RWY 23 RNP-Y/Z approach starting at ATKIL... but the plane (specifically the Inibuilds A320neo V2) struggles to fly the LNAV path without intervention. I'd love to see a tutorial like this with the V2, but with the NZQN approaches.
Thx for video was interesting. Now I have new broadband I can actually watch your videos in 4k on TV and read some of the displays 😅 which is a great help. It’s good see the 320neo is more than flyable even at this stage
Great video Emanuel! I'm not on Beta, but looking forward to flying this. By the way, could you also please try an RNP-AR with curved segments and see how this Inibuilds aircraft handles it?
This wasn't good enough to make it worth using over FBW. Overshot the track and couldn't maintain speed restrictions. Only thing it did right was altitude.
Snarp catch about the disconnect sign at minimums. Other deviations on the PFD and ND I think I caught; shouldn’t the V/DEV word and indication be green? And the RNAV 07 indicator on the top of the ND shouldn’t it be connected without the space? Like RNAV07? Also, no FLS capability? Does it do RNP AR approaches?
@@tomstravels520 Yep, but here it's the **A320neo**. So we're talking about the newest EIS EFIS issue standard -- For which I believe V/DEV should be in green.
From the looks on your approach there doesn't seem to be any stutters like most of the people have encounter including me, other than the stutters on final the plane is really great to fly for what it is right now! Can't wait for the full release
Very interesting video, being relatively new to flight sim, have you done a beginners guide to flying the A320 ? It would be interesting to go through it
Thanks another great video. Question on the letters for the RNAV and even ILS approaches. Eg ILS Z OR Y and same in RNAV Z or Y Which one should you I be using?
Last time I asked someone about this they said you would choose the Z one if they were all identical but in reality the ATIS would tell you. You have to look for differences in the charts. Some have different go around procedures, some have slightly different descent angles, some are marked LPV only
She flies pretty well for alpha version tbh 😅 guess it is stupid question , but will there be FLS simulated ? i like it in Fenix , works quite nice now .
Anyone having an issue when you do turnarounds with the engines not starting. They always start fine from cold and dark, but when I do a return flight the N2 goes up to about 25-30 and then refuses to start. It’s nothing I’m doing and to get around it I have to click the starter between crank and ignition a few times with the engine master on.
The same happened to me. They eventually started on their own, they just took their time. I have no idea if that's normal, maybe something specific to the LEAP engines?
@@lvwpy It’s not engine specific, the LEAP’s ironically start a tad faster than the PW irl 😂. The first time it happened I let them run up but it took a good 5-6 minutes for a complete start and neither engine gave the “avail” after start. I’ve found since though, if you flick the fuel pumps off while on stand then put them back on just before pushback they start a bit faster, still somthing massively wrong and takes 3 minutes or so, but it’s faster.

No FS2Crew unfortunately. That is, unless you are okay with flying single pilot with this thing.

Looking forward to your impressions on the hand flying of this aircraft. How has it been so far?
Well that is one functionality it has over the FBW. That one still has no working RNAV approache mode.
I believe it has no go-around track either, does it?

It does not do RNP AR, I think. I know the manual says it can’t do something related to RNP
I do believe in the real aircraft the V/DEV symbology should be green, not magenta

Does it have Navigraph charts integration in the EFB? If not, could that be a feature for a future update?
That’s something to ask the developers. This guy isn’t involved in this development.
Can you please explain why you chose conf 3 landing?
For the same reason I'd choose 30 over 40 in the 737:

How do you program the missed approach into the plane?
It is automatically input in the mcdu, still need to brief it from charts though
Does ILS work on this plane?
Yes
RNAV approach.. the 1 that FBW A320 doesn’t have… nice…
No LDEV?

Typically that’s only for approaches requiring 0.3nm accuracy or less so usually RNP-AR type

Not strange at all. It contained stolen code from the freeware fly by wire and so Microsoft pulled it off.

Yes it's available if you join the beta
