Hey dude so I just got a shutter wide angle and now 3days later the bearing has already gone is it possible that the supplier applied too Much lubricant?
How would to much lube ruin a bearing?
@@SasquatchN64 the dark matter lube I used put little shards of metal in one of my bearings
@@dylansproston4247 hold up, if I recall i think dark matter lube is really finicky and shouldn't be used on bearings unless necessary.
On a freshly bought yoyo, you typically don't need to lubricate it unless you might be having some troubles like it isn't responsive enough on your binds.

@@dylansproston4247 not unless i was holding onto it. I would recommend removing the bearing, trying to spin it on a pencil for a bit, and if necessary, giving it a clean. It's hard to really figure out what's wrong without actually having it.
From my guess, i think it's just over lubed (typically to protect them in storage), you can work it out by doing pinwheels, around the world, or just spinning the bearing a lot. Cleaning the bearing will remove more lube though.
