Жизнь без воды людям и животным не возможна. Пресная вода - бесценное сокровище, и её ничем не заменишь. Деятельность человека пагубно отражается на количестве и качестве запасов пресной воды. Мы начинаем дорожить водой лишь тогда, когда колодец высох. А сегодня колодцы высыхают не только в засушливых областях, но и там, где прежде недостатка воды не наблюдалось. Давайте будем ценить это сокровище, которое подарил нам, наш Создатель.

It's a french documentary translated to English. You are positively experiencing the French flow of ideas and relation with nature. It's indeed quite different than anglo saxon documentaries. French is a catholic agricultural and ingenuity nation. Anglo saxons are a protestant, merchand and speculators nation. This translate into how they each view nature.

There is something about physics that makes movement of an elephant much slower than that of a mouse, no it's not as obvious to explain as it seems. Somehow muscles don't get proportionally stronger with volume as much as increase in weight which is a cubic power of volume but single muscles fibers cannot sustain heavier tension so that muscle power only grows as a square from the cross section. this 3D versus 2D balance makes the larger animal slower. Also the amount of food required to sustain a larger volume becomes too much. Living beings are finely tuned by evolution.
This is what goes through the mind of an engineer watching wildlife sometimes.
They're amazingly created by God. They didn't just self-assemble as per evolution fantasy 😏
