Hi! I binge watched all your videos when I subscribed and I have thoroughly enjoyed your journey. I'm over 60 years old and I understand how you're feeling. But believe me, when you look back on this part of your life you are never going to regret doing the things you wanted to do. Those will be the memories you cherish most. Someone replied that there are people who are probably jealous of your lifestyle, and I agree. Especially if they're not living the life they want. Your "normal" life is doing what makes you happy. Your heart will tell you when it's time to switch paths. Enjoy! Looking forward to more videos. ❤
Soooo relatable. Been living away from family for several years now and I'm living my best life but it does not feel great to miss the milestones. We could all use this reminder from time to time. We are all on different paths and that's okay.
Don't feel guilty about the things youre missing. Im pretty sure others are jealous of your current life too! Being able to live in Korea and all that. I know I certainly am hahaha. I think the most important thing is to listen to yourself and make sure that you enjoy what you are doing. Every life is unique. Your happiness is what matters.
man i cried so hard when you were talking about missing out on things and is this really my life. I got told once that i shouldn't compare my life to others or be sad that everyone else is married, having kids etc, we all move at our own pace and I'm still trying to learn that about myself and b okay with it.
Awwww 🥺🥺 yes comparison is a thief of joy! I hope you continue to find peace in knowing that we all run our own course and that we will never miss what’s meant for us 💕
I've spent my entire weekend binging all your videos and I agree with the other comments - I'm also working a corporate job and ticked other "milestones" in life but what makes me the most happiest is travelling, meeting new people and enjoying new experiences! I also plan to move to korea as well so your videos have been an inspiration - love all the way from Australia!!
Honestly your thoughts and worries are totally valid, and it's very normal to fall into the "what if I was over there with my friends and family instead of here?" But at the end of the day, although I don't really know your exact reasoning for moving away to Korea bc it's my first time here, if you've decided for yourself that this is what you want to try--and also being able to follow through is a great feat. In my opinion I think it's better to look at these things from a more personal standpoint. Yes, you might be "missing" things with people who are close to you, but you're also making a journey and memories for yourself, and paving the path that you feel right now is the one for you. Not to say that this won't change in the future, but I think taking these worries one step at a time is the best way to go about it. Otherwise, you risk falling into a maze of alternate pathways you could have taken, and end up doubting your decisions extra hard. Chin up, love! If what you're doing right now (travelling, going to concerts, learning a language, visiting cafes and living life somewhere so far from your comfort place) is what brings you joy in this moment, I think you should stick with it until you feel otherwise. No choices are ever easy, and frankly, you've taken a huge leap of faith to be so far away from what you know is familiar--and that in itself is something to be proud of! There are always going to be bumpy roads ahead, and you may feel like things are crashing down on you, but to be honest, none of us ACTUALLY know what we're doing and if we've made the "right" decisions, so, I would say try not to beat yourself up over it too much. Take it at a pace you feel most comfortable:) Lots of love!
wow thank you so so so much for your kind words!! 🥺 im so touched and encouraged - and you're right. I love the life I live right now as well as the experiences I get to have. just gotta remind myself that and seize every moment of this period where I am apart from friends and family 💕
two parts to my comment so it will be long 😂 first, I’m jealous Woosung sang ILYSB at the concert - that wasn’t on his set list (nor was Oh) when he came to Calgary with Epik High 🥺😭 second lol coming from someone who’s been wanting to spend at least a year living abroad while still in her 20s, I admire you for taking such a huge step in life! I’m currently putting that thought on hold cause life tied me down to a mortgage, so I’m stuck with that commitment right now lol 😂🥲 it’s nice to live vicariously through the fun times and to know some struggles you face there, cause we all know, not everything is rainbows and butterflies 🙃 but like you said in the video, live for your own life!! although you may be living apart from friends and family, I’m sure everything is still facing problems there too! not everyone can have the experiences they hope to have, or some people just don’t take that chance.. We each have our own path in life, and we never know what we’ll be faced with! Just continue with doing whatever makes you feel content, God is definitely working up a great path for you in life! 😌✨
HAHA im so sorry to hear about ILYSB!!! i'm glad you got a chance to see him perform tho! 🥺 and thank you for words of encouragement!! you're right, there's pros and cons to everything and it's up to us to choose how we want to see things and live. I honestly am very thankful for this ability to live abroad 💕 thank you thank you thank you ~~

For sure 😖 it’s hard to balance living for yourself and still being connected to your loved ones
