When they say “dance line” it’s like a drum line in a marching band. They are still a part of the band but it’s a subunit. There are many “lines” in K-pop groups. Dance line are the main dancers, vocal line are the singers, rap line are the rappers, hyung line are the older members, maknae line are the youngest members. Any time 2 or more (but less than all 7) do anything they are lined or shipped. For example “sope” is Suga and Jhope. 3Js are the original dance line of Jhope, Jimin, and jungkook.

l'm American Army that's 59yr old, BTS find me when l was going through cancer, was tired and wanted to just give up on life.
Through BTS music lyrics and vlive l started listening begin to believe in myself/God and gain strength to continue this fight.
It's going on 3yrs. cancer-free
BTS promise to be there if we continue to fight for our happiness.
And the main purpose every day is to continue to love yourself first..

Just a little FYI...... BigHit sent the boys to America in 2014 to be mentored by Coolio and Warren G and a few others. Coolio had seen their work and was surprised by how good they were at such a young age.
Korean age , up till last year, was done differently than ours. At birth they were 1 yr old, then at the new year another year and then birthdays and so on.
So in 2011 when Jungkook went to live in the dorm with the guys, he was only 13 yrs old.
The others were 15,16 and 18 at the time. They were babies really, and during the 3 to 4 years they trained they didn't go home.
They lived together and only had each other to rely on and to lean on.
Korean Culture back then was very strict about personal space between the sex's .
Everything wasn't as sexualized as it is here. Girls and guys didn't touch, hold hands, hug, or kiss or make out or even date till a certain age. And in most idol contracts they can't date at all.
So you would see girls holding hands, hugging and sleeping together, same with the guys.
As I said it wasn't all sexualized like here.
It's changed some over the years , but still frowned apron.
I think that's why most reviews are a little back handed about doing reviews of the guys. They think they are too feminine or too touchy.
But these young men are Brothers, brothers of the heart and mind.
We Army's love them not only because as you saw, unlike most of these little kpop artist that are just put together and stand and sing and dance to what they are told to do, BTS Makes most of their stuff. From the songs to the dances, the video's and produces then also.
JK, Jimin, V, Suga, and RM still go live to chat with Army and say Hello, JK the most...
Like most, I came to them while my husband was going thru cancer treatments, then while I had some health problems and they have helped me since my husband passed 5 yrs ago.
They say you find BTS when you need them yet don't know you need them, and it's true.
Sorry so long, but I just wanted you to know how much they mean to us all and the why's.
Thank you for your kindness and open-minded to listen and get to know these very above average talented young men. I appreciate it.

Jungkook’s name “Golden Closet Films” has nothing to do with his sexuality. It is simply that when he began producing, he did it in a closet, the only space available to him at that time. BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!
I love how RM categorised the percentage of their success instead of saying cliche things like "Oh we'll give 100% to our fans".
He mentioned everyone who is behind their success n tht's a great Leader right there. He didn't fake it, like many other artists do.
n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, love u BTS 💜

I’m not sure if you caught the part about the members attended when JungKook STARTED high school and you did catch that they were there when he graduated. He was in middle school (age 13) when he started living with all the trainees.
All seven members are stars in their own right having released successful singles and/or albums (Jin and JungKook’s case, they have only released solos
songs). Not one member is expendable. Thank you for reacting to them, and welcome to the rabbit hole.
I think others explained the dance line, rap line etc. There are songs that two or more of the members have made together which did not include all the members. A few examples:
“Friends” by V and Jimin
“Jamias Vu” (one of my faves) by J-Hope, Jin and JungKook
“It’s Definitely You” by V and Jin

Suga actually loved dancing now. He didn't have to, but he did a dance choreography and a dance practice for his solo song Haegeum, and when asked why he did it, he said he knew that ARMY's would like it, and he wanted to give them a choreography for it. He did a tic tok dance challenge for it. It's a pretty awesome dance. Maybe after you do the Haegeum MV you could do the dance practice. Jungkook actually holds the Spotify record right now. He even bypassed BTS's group record. JK is a burning up right now. The dance line are the members that have the highest level of talent in dance, and those are the ones that are put front and center, and they can also do unit performances, and dance breaks.
Suga doesn't "love" dancing. It is part of his work and he accepts that. Watch the behind the scenes stuff to his collab with Psy.
And you missunderstood Jungkooks "record".
He had more listens to his music that specfic month: he had dropped new music (with big Promo, Collabs, English, MVs) and BTS hadn't dropped (big) music in about a year.
Nevermind that that are not all subscribed Spotify followers but unique listeners *that* month.
Context does matter.
The danceline usually with emphesis on J-Hope and Jimin, than JK (J3) and than V has more center time/unque intro dance time like at (Korean) award shows - but (almost) everyone who is delivering lines is at that specific moment in the Center of the choreo when that happens.

Hi, when BTS perform they let the singer go centre stage, but generally they want their best dancers in front and the weaker ones behind. The dance line was originally J-hope, Jimin and Jungkook, but V improved a lot and was promoted to be part of the danceline too.

There are words we use to group the guys together. Rap line- the rappers of the group (RM, Suga, J-hope), maknae line- the youngest members (Jimin, V, Jungkook), hyung line- oldest members of the group (Jin, RM, Suga, Jhope), vocal line- vocalist of the group (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook), dance line- the dancers of the group (Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook, V), 94/95 line- members born in 1994 or 1995, visual line- consists of most 'handsome members' according to korean standards (Jin, V, Jungkook), and so on.
One thing you don't have to worry about is doing long videos we love long videos you could have made this l0nger then skipping parts of this honestly even if it's an hour or so long we love watching it trust me.

Dipolmatic passport means that you act on behalf your countries government in another country and if you are on government business you are can't be arrested if you commit a criminal act in the host country while carrying out your governments orders. It give's you special powers but only while you are conducting official orders/business for your own country. So yeah is very important thing to hold.
Let’s hope diplomats are not doing criminal acts in other countries and abusing immunity.
These diplomatic passports were important for BTS because it allowed them to travel/leave SK during the pandemic, because they were on official business representing SK.

She then flew to the States and claimed diplomatic immunity rather than owning up to her crime. We've been trying to get her back... don't know how that's going

Well, BTS and K-pop groups have these lines or categories if you want to look at it to show that the members have things in common. So, when someone mentions BTS maknae line, for example, we know they are referring to the three youngest members. Here’s a list:
hyung line- 4 oldest; Jin, RM, Jhope, and Suga
Maknae line- 3 youngest; V, Jimin and Jungkook
Rap line- the 3 rappers; Jhope, Suga and RM
Vocal line- the 4 vocalists; Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin
Visual line- V, Jin, and Jungkook
Dance line- (group’s main dancers)
Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V
Jung line- Jungkook and Jung Hoseok (Jhope)
Kim line- Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, and Kim Taehyung

In Kpop, members of a group have roles within the group.
Vocal line, rap line, dance line, J-line, maknae line, etc. They're basically like subunits within the group. In BTS the lines are broken down like this:
Rap line: RM, Suga, J-Hope
Vocal line: Jin, JK, Jimin, V
Dance line: J-Hope, V, Jimin, JK
Within some albums, there will be songs that include JUST the vocal line. Some that are just rap line. They also release Japanese versions of these songs and also Japanese specific songs. Then you have songs that are targeted for the Western audience like Butter, PTD, and Dynamite.

In K pop there are different structures. They have a leader, singing line, dance line, etc... In BTS the dance line was originally formed by J Hope, JK and Jimin (the best dancers) but I think they all dance amazingly.
Jin was born in 1992 ams rm was born in 1994 jins 31of I'm not mistaken and rm turned 30 September 12th
That’s Korean age not international age. Jin is 30 and RM is 29 (sept 12).

This is a genuine question and I don't mean anything bad about this but....I have watched a lot of reaction videos, and most of them don't know what a diplomatic passport is. Is it not common knowledge? Just a genuine question.

Even if you don't know the actual capital of Belgium, I'd like to think they know it's not "waffle" and he's telling a joke. I also feel similar when people don't understand that Jin is telling the story of how he looks handsome from afar and that's how he was recruited, but everyone thinks he's just a super cocky guy which is not what it's about 💜

There’s a RUclipsr by the name of xCeleste that does BTS related info videos and what not and actually does narrations if you’re not into all that reading.

the only downside is how she often repeats anything she's already said. like instead of forwarding you to another video that mentions a topic you've already heard she'll just dedicate a segment again. even if you've seen only one video, she will repeat something from that in the 2nd one you watch.
@@BoraBox7 I do agree with you and it does get quite vexing but that’s usually due to how K-pop fans tend to nitpick everything. So it’s probably on the safer side to just reiterate things over and over. I’ve seen really good/concise Kpop topic vids that would get absolutely mauled by K-pop fans due to its lack of “information” and “reminders” it’s unfortunate but that’s where her target audience is so she has to make due.
@@CoconutxKimchi i get it, and i think channels like boracitymagazine also has to repeat the same concept a lot, but the way boramagazine does it to tie it into her original concept whereas xceleste will just explain something as is without relating it towards the topic her video is actually about.
sorry i can't remember exactly what it was but i watched an xceleste video a couple days ago and there was this section of her talking about a bunch of bts songs that got onto billboard charts and it just wasn't there for any reason. it didn't pertain to the topic the video was on, it was so out of place and lasted too long.
also don't want this to come across as im trying to like argue with you im just stating my opinion and i am bored 😭
