    I just checked, Standlee weed-free chopped straw bales use an herbicide called Sencor and sometimes a pesticide Lorsban or Mustang Max

    RIP the KS StarrLing can pepper 😢The rest looks good (beside the nibbles here and there) though. And being a sucker for dark foliage plants the Purple Jalapeño, Gypsy Baron and that purple Mustardgum Naga Brain look especially pretty 🖤Hope you get the bugs under control 🤞

    I'm growing Mattapenos for the first time this year - I've been hoping for just a bit of variegation, as I've heard that too much and the leaves can't absorb the usual amount of sunlight due to the white color reflecting, so less chlorophyll is created and the plants can struggle.
