You say cups fine to me. Americans often have a friendly go about my Aussie accent, which isn't an accent to me! I have a smattering of Scottish and Irish due to my strong Scottishand Irish heritage.
As far as I'm concerned, I speak Aussie English 😀. I never knew I had an accent til I was in high school and people asked because some words I "said funny/strange). I'd just look at them stupid. I'm actually very proud of my Scottish/Irish Celtic Druid heritage/ancestry. My wee Scottish grandma started teaching me the old ways, in age appropriate ways when
I was 4, which was the normal way traditionally. I do have a little Welsh in me also. I always say that I'm Aussie born and bred with a whole lot of Scottish and Irish blood running through my veins.

I’m hermit, he is the emperor. He fell in love and told me he had to stop our connection, because I can’t be fully his. Yep, every time I’ve been disappointed. They always choose someone else 100% of the time. Since I was 17. I’m 50. This is a pattern for over 30 years now.
I had to let go of this person because his mom put him into an arranged engagement while we’re getting to know each other. I was devastated. It’s over, but I wish he would have chosen his free will…but, it’s completely over. I’ve given up. He ghosted me when I told him that he needed to think of his arranged fiance as his sexual partner going forward. This was 2 months ago. Completely ghosted me.
