Love all there offerings. Im from a family with many sdc employees 3 cousins 4 uncles 2 aunts 3 siblings 1 niece all long time sdc employees. Its not really in branson but closer to branson west mo. Where im resident.

I have some news for those interested! The "Lost River of The Ozarks" ride has been shut down as of early 2019, and is being replaced with something unknown next year in 2020. More news to be released this summer, 2019.
Mystic river falls, a tie into an actual "Lost River" in the cave. Tallest raft ride in the western hemisphere. 5.5 story drop, a half-mile long, and a lit tower with four rotating lift elevators.
Went here for Christmas and loved it. Compared to my home park Six Flags Over Texas, blows six flags away. Nice themeing, good coasters. Friendly staff and more. Can’t wait to go back
Jeffrey Cunningham I went to SFoT for the first time last month, and I was amazed at how clueless most of the staff were. I know that can happen early in the season when a lot of the staff are new, but this was amazing. Except kudos to one op on the log ride who went out of his way to be helpful.
I loved Outlaw Run, it’s my favorite wooden coaster of all time. I also loved Time Traveller, as a spinning coaster fan I’m proud that the genre is taking off
Me and my friend went on time traveler on a school feild trip (it was my first big coaster and I was 13) and I was so nervous but had a blast on. I really do like all the clocks and astetic because I love clock work themed things
There was actually a kiddie coaster previous to the one that is in the Grand Exposition area. It was situated in the Tom Sawyer area. I'm pretty sure it's actually the same coaster.
closest park to me :) i live in nwa so the most fun anyone can have is going to sdc. when i was very little, they used to have this really big water slide thing that was really dangerous and fireman’s landing used to be a giant ball pit and you could load the balls into these little gun things and shoot them.

Also here’s some more history about silver Dollar City! Silver dollar city used to be in pigeon forge! It was called silver dollar city days. Then it was bought by dolly parent! Then it turned into Dollywood! Silver dollar city is a recreation of the pigeon forge one!
Other way around. SDC bought the Gatlinburg park as the failing Goldrush Junction. They duplicated lots of ther rides like Blazing Furry, which was identical to Fire in the Hole. The built a flooded mine, saloon show, Grandfathers Mansion (Now the Dolly Parton Museum). They are still there as Hershend Family Entertainment formed a partnership with Dolly rather than have her build a second theam park right down the road.
I remember going to this park probably around 1992 and I don't remember any rides. This video confirms there were no rides, that was pretty boring for a 13 year old.

Time Traveler isn’t all that exciting, really. I know a lot of people who have liked it, but Outlaw Run and Wildfire are both better thrill options.
