Haha Heavenly Maid couldn't stand the cute cheesiness between Sang Sang and Ning Que lol. She kicked the water basin at him.😂😭 She's so mean. He has his hands full Sang Sang's split personality. Poor Ning Que; she knocked him back to reality. "Foot washing water for my wife." 😂💖💕 He's sweet. Sang Sang is not as powerless as some people say, she healed Ning Que, not completely, but to the point his injuries are no longer life threatening. I still can't believe Tiānnü cut his private off.😭 I couldn't tell by Ning Que's reaction after looking down his pants if that part healed or not. I'm guessing not. Only one more episode left and Ning Que and Sang Sang have not truly reunited. I'm sure many of the viewers like myself want to see more scenes of the romance and love between Ning Que & Sang Sang. In S1, those scenes were too far and wide apart, left us yearning for more. Now in S2, just as their love was beginning to blossom they got rid of Sang Sang. She morphed into Tiānnü. I like the actress, but I don't want see Ning Que with this "new" Sang Sang. We want the real Sang Sang. BTW I'm loving He Di as Ning Que. He did great.
In the book, after his privates were cut off, it was never mentioned if the Hoatian healed it/put it back but she did cause they have 3 kids in the end lol

This is the point in the book where she emasculates him, I think. She’s trying to remove all that annoying humanness from herself (SangSang and Ning Que’s love for each other). I think this drama reflects Mao Ni’s writing very well.
I like season 2 too and Dylan Wang did a superb job on his character no complaining there. But my issue is that just when their love started to developing they kill Song character off and here come the new girl. That’s just pretty much destroyed the whole aspects of the second season. I know that’s what the book is about but at least make us fans want to see more and more from their love and their romance. I have nothing against the new girl. Just can’t picture her suddenly with NQ that’s all. I want the real SS/SONG !
Hello. When you watched at the end of Episode 43, you will fully understand about Ning Que and Sang Sang coming together to visit the tombs of their 2 Teachers. In the novel called "Nightfall", written by Mao Ni, the breath and life of Ning Que revolved around Sang Sang and he always told himself that it is better for him to die, rather than to live alone. Let us hope that there will be Season 3 for "Ever Night" . This show won the Best Drama TV Series in Canada-China International Film Festival. . Best regards to you.

We can assume they meant the actress playing the Haotian now is the true appearance of the SangSang we used to know and love. SangSang and the haotian are not 2 different people, they are one person. The show makes it hard for us to envision it because they’re still showing us the old actress playing SangSang. In the book, the Haotian is the Haotian, with memories of her life as SangSang.

This has become so boring now.. It seem as if the writers and the director are trying their best to make us not like this series any more so they can go on to do something else and be released from their contracts on this series. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for their future projects so I can avoid them..
I stopped watching from episode 36, my plan was after they have post all the remaining episodes I will go read the last episode comments if no complain and it has a good ending I will then watching the remaining episodes because I got addicted to this particular drama I pray everyday so that Monday, and Tuesday will come and go , but to my greatest surprise they turned d drama into another thing, please let me watch things that keeps me smiling and joyful, I can't kill my joy by myself.

Overdone on torturing Mlead, spoiled the whole drama. Instead of enjoyment it turned to vomiting feeling.
This has become so boring now.. It seem as if the writers and the director are trying their best to make us not like this series any more so they can go on to do something else and be released from their contracts on this series. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for their future projects so I can avoid them..
I stopped watching from episode 36, my plan was after they have post all the remaining episodes I will go read the last episode comments if no complain and it has a good ending I will then watching the remaining episodes because I got addicted to this particular drama I pray everyday so that Monday, and Tuesday will come and go , but to my greatest surprise they turned d drama into another thing, please let me watch things that keeps me smiling and joyful, I can't kill my joy by myself.
@@kingsleyreuben4329 I totally agree. I was enjoying it the first season & still enjoyed the acting of season 2 after they changed the lead character. But as of late I have only been watching it as something to do while waiting for "Joy of Life" to continue. I guess I will go re-watch the series Three kingdoms or Nirvana in fire lol

second season SS is the least beautiful NQ lady friends and not only that all his beautiful ladies are helping him except SS. All she does is call him "young master" nothing else in season 2 so far
