im an big fan of your straight talk i watch months ago on you channel im picking up my v9 thursday morning, could have baught any of the other midsize pickups but im older 6ft 3 110 kilos and i need pure comfort and space as my priority and smoother ride for barely any off road at all , for me when i saw either v7 or v9 in person at the show room i was amazed at what you get for the money , seeing them in person is believing , and i want to thank your show for steering me to this truck, got that dashcam , rain gutters, and sun resistant installed tint ,just waiting on my electric lid i ordered lol!! just like you said for the sheer size this is as close as you gonna get to the f150 or rams and for sheer value !!
Great review, changed my opinion a bit. The less than mid-sized power is a concern, but for typical PH driving conditions not a big deal, at the 1.8 million price of a well-speced Hilux or Ranger you get so much space, tech & interior quality. If you don't want to pay the 5 million pesos & don't need the 5.5 ton tow capacity (or VIP image & fuel bills) of RAM Rebel, this is an interesting option.
I hope they have plans of refining/developing the bigger and inherently torquier 4f25 for use on this truck. The 2.0 honestly feels high strung. Quite frankly, we need at least 180hp and 500nm for the size of this beast, something the 2.0 would be over-stressed for.
We may have reserved opinions on chinese brand but there's no denying they are pushing the market to a better place. If they can do this why not the bigger brands? Food for thought
Most Chinese car manufacturers like foton are state owned and the private ones are heavily incentivized by the government. Selling low is the strategy so that they can enter and dominate the market in the future. And once they’re there on the top, guess what happens next.
5 years or 150k km. 700km wading depth. Unfortunately, i don't have the answer to your last question. You'll have to ask the dealer about that. But there are aftermarket 360 cam options that you can buy from accessory shops
@jaywalkur for the size foton could have included these necessary options: 360 cam, blind spot warning, front & rear sonic sensors, etc. It could be better if wading is at 900mm. Btw, pls review foton's electric van. Need is to ferry batangas to gapan, nueva ecija.
Its lighter than an mux and an everest but the mux comes with a reliable 1.9l engine and the everest comes with a 2.0. Many ppl have these cars that have high mileage. Depends on how u take good care of the car
Mux n everest not a pick up, pick up should carry more cargo, put 10 sacks of rice and tunland engine will crank. Tunland cargo bed useless if it cannot carry heavy load. Even the raptor with bi turbo lacked power.
Paano nagging full size yan e same size Lang din Yan nung mga ranger. Ang laki Lang NG ulo Nyan, walang pinagiba Yan dun sa ranger na pinapalitan Yung face NG f150. Kaya sobrang laki tingnan

That 100k price difference to go to V9 is worth it. Thanks for this review!
Basically a ford f150 and ram 1500 copies
What did you expect
And named Tundland from Toyota Tundra 😂
You are one of the best reviewer sir.Congrats😊

Spareparts is ready here in the phils??
I believe so. Foton has a dedicated warehouse for spareparts. They also have an assembly plant in clark pampanga.
@jaywalkur tnx
are they still assembled in the Philippines?
What's the warranty coverage? Wading depth? Will the dealer install an after-market 360 security/view cam?

Sana ma review nyo din po yong JMC Grand Avenue
Why it's look like F150
The engine is a hybrid. So no surprise that it is small.
Probably V7 and V9 are the biggest pick up in the philippine market today. And it is luxurious too.
160hp is this a joke? If so its just a really big truck with a tiny under powered engine?
Ah, they toyota F150
No sign of any Toyota
Kamusta naman Steering kung i rank as TERRITORY magaang ilang po score nyo 10 magaang
Yung Tundra naging Tundland😅😅😅
Exactly! 😅
Why name is funny asf tho🙃
its engine wont last long for its heavy weight
Engine displacement is not everything. Engine will last on how u take care of it.

@@maneseethangilt.2119not all engines will last long no matter how much you take care of it, there is no silver bullet.
The tire is to small for its size
Very small engine
Ito ang pinaka gwapo sa lahat ng pickup kahit na china made ibang iba un stance sa road kahit all stock. Prang f150 laki
4:00 That's seems like GTA V Fake cars

Sponsored by your chinese neighborhood 😢
Imagine still copying a foreign design in 2025 couldn't be me

Ford fanboy spotted
Look at the specs they are almost identical to ford f150 not raptor
2L 4cyclinder 160HP for that size??? Fullsize truck?? Comedy yan boss,
hingal engine nito😊😅
depende sa purpose mo. Kundi naman heavy hauler at daily beater lang swak na yan
that engine will be dead sooner, that full sized body...😢
Phillipines support chinese economy yey👌
Naahhh
We don't support china u stpd fck
Tundra copy cat
D tumatagal ang makina sayang pera ninyo kasi nga po yaring china gawang mahina at daling masira..
😂😂😂😂 Bakit mga bus truck China naman bakit nakakabiyahe naman ng probinsya
the engine start stop is DEAL BREAKER- IM OUT!!
It can be disabled with the press of a button
@@jaywalkur Oh wait, no Android Auto or Apple Carplay?
@gpaje: No android auto or apple carply. It has carbit instead which is a phone mirroring app.
@@jaywalkurgotcha, that's works.
@@jaywalkur gotcha, I guess that'll work.
