Well you see ... CO2 is not a polar molecule and water is. Microwave generates alternating electromagnetic waves that can move polar molecules like water, fats or salts but not CO2. I'm not a 100% sure but I think you'll get the same effect with parafin. By effect I mean it won't heat up.
Carbon dioxide is not a polar molecule so it can't be moved by electromagnetic waves ... sorry. Thooooough, if you put it in an airtight and poorly thermaly isolated container (i.e. every container there is) it will go boom. *If the container isn't strong enough. If it is, carbon dioxide might go supercritical whitch means it will be a gas that has densities similar to water. But for it to do that, it needs to be at the right temperature and preasure whitch usually is prety ridiculously high.
