Hello everyone. I jus wanted to give encouragement to people that are standing. I’ve been separated from my spouse for 8 months. Although I questioned if I should continue to pray. Everyone one here encouraged me to do so. Due to my husband’s narcissistic behavior I prayed if I should divorce my husband. To the person that said god changed & dealt with the apostle that was killing Christians. Surely he could change a narcissist. But I lost hope & prayed for god to show me the way & release me from this marriage if it was his will. I had given up all hope due to our anniversary & birthdays had passed. Last Monday I went to eat at my husband & I favorite restaurant. Not just favorite but we would go ever morning to breakfast at this place even during the week before work. Getting to the point while eating my breakfast alone. The owner of the restaurant walked up to my table & informed me that my husband had been there 3 weekends in a row !! Alone!!! Looking for me. OMG !!!! I was so shocked!!! While i was dreaming of our reunion he was seeking me. Due to the way we separated god let me know he’s afraid & ‘embarrassed to show up at the house. But God told me to keep praying & because the time is near. I’m in total awe !!!!!!! So I pray this encourages someone. God hears our prayers.

I'm in a similar situation. Don't stop praying. God sees our prodigal spouse's every thought and though they may act one way in front of us, they may be thinking about us and the harm their decisions have caused when they are alone. Ask God to communicate to them. I am seeing the end of my own marriage and she's moved on. But I continue to stand because I know God can do anything and nothing is impossible for him. Even if it ends I have to believe that his ways are not my own and he is bigger than what I am seeing. Learn to rest in him. The best place to be in all of this is when your heart is more in love with the Lord than with your spouse.

I'm in a similar situation. Don't stop praying. God sees our prodigal spouse's every thought and though they may act one way in front of us, they may be thinking about us and the harm their decisions have caused when they are alone. Ask God to communicate to them. I am seeing the end of my own marriage and she's moved on. But I continue to stand because I know God can do anything and nothing is impossible for him. Even if it ends I have to believe that his ways are not my own and he is bigger than what I am seeing. Learn to rest in him. The best place to be in all of this is when your heart is more in love with the Lord than with your spouse.

My wife and I were getting documents ready for our boy’s passport to go to on vacation, we have been separated for 11 months. Originally she was going to go, at the end of the night before I left her house she said she was thinking about not going. She was crying and said she feels bad because she knows it hurt me when she said that. All I said was I’m trusting God and to let me know if you change your mind.
I left playing worship music and felt some peace knowing that God is in control and it’s out of my hands.
