    I had put one grip on already and it was a massive effort and then I stumbled upon this video. It was relatively much quicker and easier.

    Worked brilliantly - although I did use a bit of soapy water as well. The plastic bag made it very easy! Thanks!

    Several methods suggested here on RUclips, I tried this one and it was easy peasy, at least as easy as shown here if not even quicker.
    Thanks!

    Excellent technique. However I applied some soapy water to the inside of the grip puppies and some on the existing grips and did mine and it took all of about 10 or 15 minutes at the most.

    Sir, you are a grip and life savior. '' Grip savior '', because till i saw the video, i destroyed 4-5 pairs of them, using various methods, that believe me, you don' t want to know, because you will laugh, even when you sleep. And '' life savior '' because I CAN SLEEP TOO, now. ps: the grips i bought AND destroyed they didn't have not even close, the price of the Puppies. Fortunately.

    I have a VFR1200x and fitted a pair this morning, I just squirted some Quick Dry Electrical Contact Cleaner inside the new grips and they went on with a gentle twist in seconds, literally about 10 seconds ... the contact cleaner dried about a minute later and grips are on! Standard size Puppies ... not rode it yet but install was a breeze.

    I just installed the puppy grips on my FJR1300 - with soapy water. Easy, fast, no problems. I really dont understand why people are always having problems sliding these over. I put it in soap water, slid it over the handle - and used a towel to just bring it completely over the handle bar. It takes not even 20 seconds on each side

    I bought Grip Puppies for my RE and found them too fat and squishy, even for my big hands. I use leather wraps from Trip Machine now. Great feel, and a cool classic look.

    • @RideWithJerry
      @RideWithJerry 10 месяцев назад

      Does the oil dry or stay slippery? A little bit of soapy water is probably the best and easiest way to put them on (easier than the method I showed.) They slide on easily and the water dries quickly.

  • @VaibhavBain
