Loving the gameplay. But I hope (doubt it though..) that they will make a better character select menu. When half the roster is just Goku in various forms I cry.
Just have it be one slot per character and when you select them, then you get a menu of all their forms and whatnot.
I’m also worried the menu is gonna be very plane and not have all the characters apart of it like the old games

I'm getting more disappointed by tge day with this game and it truly saddens me .

Okay so I’m not crazy lol, this is a HUGE downgrade from past selection screens, with my personal favorite being Tenkaichi 3.
Thank you so so so much for uploading full gameplay with original music and sound. I almost lost all hope for a normal video cause all we have around are commentaries videos of those who are trying to become influencers, releasing bits by bits and lowering all sounds so we can hear them talk and its soooo irritating.

What they likely mean is that they want some sort of "Dramatic Finish" animation like in FighterZ that communicates exactly what should've happened. In this case, I guess the screen could pan out to reveal a huge crater and some settling debris.

I’ve always wanted a DBZ MMO in this kinda style. Imagine picking your race from Earthlings, Namekians, Saiyans, androids, Friezas race, Majin etc
Would have to train / fight to grow your power level and learn new techniques. Would be awesome to just explore the world too, could even go to different planets.

I can't be the only one who has mentioned this, but as someone that's played BT3 a ton, the combat and movement looks like a step down in terms of speed and intensity. The effects and models look incredible, the entire game does. I just think the gameplay looks a little stiff compared to BT3

so why we never seen a planetary destruction? are they disable it before actual launch? i remember their trailer saying shake the earth, destroy the planet but i never seen one yet
I want there to be better 'Blocking' mechanics so instead of just punching/kicking and getting hit back again and again you can dodge hits without teleporting constantly or block them individually with animations so it looks like you have a flow of attack/defense, maybe have a new bar for blocking so the more you get hit the more it drains so u can only use for short time before it refills.
Would like to see this alongside a counter-attack mechanism so if you block a flurry of attacks and counter punch its a lot more powerful and feels like a proper battle instead of just spamming the same attacks and teleporting everywhere - i didnt play Kakarot for long because the combat was lame and i hope this game doesnt do that.

I don't know if it's cause I watched this on TV but I feel like this build has actual improvement on impact/oomph on combos at least for some characters.
Heck, Goku barely moved before when on the receiving end of combos.
It's something that has been bothering me since those first gameplays from months ago, at least it's a feeling I'm getting watching some older ones and this.
They improved some stuff, and may improved again once the games receives updates

All the music is this seems so bland and in the background like what you'd find on a commentary youtubers background music when they wanna sound cool. If not then i'm definitely gonna be playing the original games soundtrack and muting the music in this game

I really hope they tune down the explosion after effects (way way way too much smoke plume)and also get rid of it on some that dont need it like special beam cannon
This game is looking good, so much better than previous iterations of dragon ball games like this.
I just wish they’d made air charging (when flying towards a person at speed for an attack) much faster, it would’ve seemed much more like the show.
I also wish they’d made the water have more explosiveness when the characters are interacting with it. For example when they hit the water from an attack to have huge splashes and waves from the impact causing massive water displacement. Also showing wind effects during charging WHILE UNDERWATER is just dumb.
I also think they should’ve taken into account that power levels are something that’s INCREDIBLY important to the show. For example, if base Vegeta is fighting Captain Ginyu, then turns Super Saiyan God, there’s NO SHOT that Ginyu, or the entire Ginyu force at the same time for that matter would be able to harm SSG Vegeta IN ANY WAY, much less beat him.
If they had made stuff like this a possibility then I would be much more excited for this game…

The game looks great BUT....the character models are kinda off to me, they look to round. I think db legends and db fighterz have character models that resemble the anime more. That part I don't like from what I've seen so far
On the other hand , special effects, animations and enviroment interaction are great (except maybe when someone is getting comboed, the receiver looks stiffy most of the time)

God the auras, animation and effects are so good in this game. It looks like the scenes from the top with the better animators. Absolutely gorgeous game. Dbz games havent wowed me since the ps2 and gamecube days, only exception being ultimate tenkaichi. But this game not only wows me visually, its gameplay also wows me. Oct cant come soon enough!
