One of my all time favorite songs ever, absolutely stunning. Morrissey and Marr together made some of the best music I'll ever hear. This is one of the most beautifully written and composed songs I've ever heard. Also, Jeff Buckley did a beautiful version too, just him and an electric guitar. He had a stunning voice as well. This song gets me every time I hear it

14 years ago omg so ahead of time the lyrics are always immaculate thanks to this saint morrisey this is my favorite song everytime i cry when i sing it especially see him perform it and this helped me thru my depression. i know its hard for him to perform but thank god for this band and everything the smiths has done. and for people who dont know them i hope they eventually find them 🥺❤️
Powerful and engaging. Andy and Mike are so strong here. Gannon is doing a good job. Johnny is wonderful (especially at 3:30 on). Morrissey's vocals and storytelling are magnificent. LOVE. LOVE!
This has a real 50's feel to it. Marr was mega influenced - well they all were - by that era. What do we get these days? Pure girl girl rip offs like Duffy. Ho hum.
