Damn you just gave me some ideas, I be hating having my Locs directly in my eyes so I been thinking bout connecting two at the root and then twisting after the congo part
this is dizzope. When i started my freeform i did the sponge method for about a week and my hair started to lock up. I free formed from there, but i separated my dreads. its now about 1 1/2 years later and all of my dreads came out really really thin and the roots of them were pretty weak. So yesterday i combined all of them in groups of 4 or 5 using the braid method to keep them together instead of rubber bands. Itll be a weird journey but i kinda like it so far. Does this sound safe to you?
hi the only problem I have with my hair is they are very frizzy and every time I thread the loose hair through the dread it keeps slipping back out and the result of doing this has split some of my hairs do you have any solutions??? my dreads are 6 months old btw and have straight hair thx??

I've been using the sponge for about 2 weeks. the locks start to form but they become untwisted throughout the day or when I go to sleep and wake up in the morning. any tips?

Thx i was literally getting impatient because I thought it was never going to lock up and that I was waiting like 15 mins everyday lol

Yea when mines is wet my hair gets curly and it helps me sponge it better

Almighty Dreamd You'll be fine. Get some cheap wave caps and put them on with your hat it'll keep your hair from sweating out and keep it neat

not if you're freeforming or towel rubbing. if you get them salon twisted, yes your scalp will be a little sore every time you get a retwist because your hair + scalp is getting pulled.

I twist my hair and had it twisted professionally to start, and I had no pain. It depends on how you or the person does it. A good loctition knows not to twist too tight.
