The M's make a lot of money just from being the only major league team in the market for 3-4 different states, as companies like Root will pay big bucks to broadcast their games knowing that there is a larger than usual audience. They also get 25-30k ticket sales per game on average due to this lack of competition. If a team came into Portland and started competing for that market share, the M's would be forced to actually try to win to keep the attention of the audience.

Relief Pitchers: Seth Lugo, Devin Williams, Giovanny Gallegos, Chad Green, Nick Anderson CP: Kirby Yates I also had the #1-#5 top prospects on my Team... This is after 1 year. JUST 1 YEAR... I turned the Angels into a Word Series team with the #1 farming system. AGAIN THIS IS AFTER ONE YEAR!!! This needs to be changed. I was really sad how easy the trading it was.
Do a sim where you put a 99 ovr position player, a 99 ovr starting pitcher and a 99 ovr relief pitcher with a team full of 1 ovr and see how that team does
