Gangchon in Chuncheon South Korea is an amazing place for a weekend getaway. There are tons of things to do and the surrounding area is just beautiful. We went to Gangchon for 2 days and one night. The first day we went ATVing, hiked up to see the Gugok Falls (구곡폭포) and chilled near the river. We had Chuncheon Dakgalbi for dinner and slept over in a pension. The next day we went GoKarting and on a Viking amusement ride. Definitely something to checkout if you're wanting to get away from Seoul for the weekend. It is only a 2 hour subway ride from Seoul.

Any problems with people complaining about using the drone while on their rides?
I'm seeing more places cracking down in the USA (and Mexico)
I think Mexico may have just banned them from coming into the country (if I read the news correctly)

Thanks! I have not had any problems in Korea. Usually when people see my drone they get excited and wave at it or come and talk to me. I sure hope that they don't crack down on drones. If anything, they should require a license, just like driving a car.

GoGarr You know as more people use drones, someone is going to do something to ruin it for the ones who have been responsible.
There's a lot of money going into these technologies, so I suspect it will eventually be regulated heavily...such is the way of government.
I couldn't believe (in the USA) if you are a professional photographer/videographer, you cannot use a drone to take panoramic shots unless you apply for a special license from the FAA, which I was told is quite expensive and therefore probably not worth it.
