I've loved Chef Nyesha since she was on Top Chef. She is just so intelligent, humble, and respectful regardless if she's working in a Michelin starred French restaurant or a hole in the wall take out spot like this one. She's great at everything she does and is a gorgeous person, inside and out.
You said what I was thinking far better than I ever could.
There are take-out spots with a michelin star
This woman is amazing keep her shows coming
I finally had the chance to try this place out a month ago, and been visiting twice a week ever since. The reviews are not hype, they're real. Food is phenomenal and Armen and his folks are welcoming people. Do yourself a favor and not deprive yourself from trying this place out, the food is that good.
Still my favorite spot in Glendale. The warm welcome of Their family everytime we go and the top quality of the food is undeniably unique. So happy they’re getting the shine they deserve.
What a fantastic host. She's knowledgeable, personable, very lovely. She's a rockstar!
Watching Chef Nyesha’s passion for food is incredible. And that palate… that’s the dream.
She’s the most engaging, skilled and humble hosts online. Great sense of humor without seeming silly- comfortable in Michelin starred restaurants and food carts.
Chef Nyesha is a fantastic interviewer. I really liked this episode. She’s so intelligent and respectful. She also gets into the heart of the place, making it easy for the viewers to understand what’s important to the business owners/chef.
Her energy is great! I love seeing how passionate the son is about the food and connecting with family ♥️
Im so glad Mini Kabob is getting recognized. One of the best plates in the city. Hopefully the lines don't get too too crazy but Armen definitely deserves it
I absolutely adore Mini Kabob! Fabulous, amazingly delicious food. Armen and his family are super friendly. They’re always ready to give a great recommendation if it’s your first visit. Patronize this small business.
Mini kabob is a family owned establishment and they are so nice and so deserving of all the attention! Been going to them for YEARS! Order ahead of time if you can. They make things to order so it can take more time than you’ll realize. Also it’s TINY so be prepared to hang out for a bit.
We need a neverending stream of Nyesha's videos please!
The Armenian food in this episode and the family behind it looked great as well!
Nyesha worked for Joel Robuchon, the chef of the century and chef with the most ever michelin stars. Of course she can identify ingredients and do basic prep work.
I love 10 mins away from here. It's aiiiiittteeee.
Great family behind it and worthy for a visit 1000%
Armen and his family are wonderful people. Always enjoy patronizing their shop and enjoying the awesome food!!
Add this joint to your list
I am from Glendale CA. Armenian food is amazing, generally speaking Middle Eastern food is fantastic.
I’ve hit up a bunch of ME joints in Glendale, and Mini is the one I keep coming back to. Nothing fancy, but top notch food, and great hospitality. Plus they got the pork kabobs.
Armenia is not Middle East
Kebap is literally Turkish origaneted dish not armenian.
@@yunuscangoktas thats not possible, historically speaking it simply cannot be turkish. makes no sense
First off, this food looks AMAZING, but did anybody else 👀 at 3:00. “Can I guess what’s in the marinade” and then she proceeds to lick the marinade that was mixed with the raw chicken.
Yeah she might have a few sick days incoming :D
I'd be lying if I said I haven't done this. Chef's have iron stomachs lol....plus the copious amount of lemon in that marinade to kill it off she'll live 🤣😎
She a real one lol, I respect it.
its fine, hooman strong
I want to know what’s in the marinade. Want to make it at home.
I’ve been here many times and the food is amazing and the family who runs it is just a joy.
Great show! I loved the camaraderie between the two Chefs. Nice balance in harmony. Keep up the good work👍👊
Love her. Chef Nyesha is a ⭐
wow the host and chef have amazing chemistry, truly a shared love and appreciation for food between you both.
Am I the only one to see the mad chemistry between them?
I was drooling after watching this, that looks delicious!!!!!
Armen is the kindest restaurant operator in Los Angeles. They are a treasure.
This food looks amazing, and the host is awesome. You need more of her.
that looks so freaking good!!!!
I hope Nyesha comes down to Hobart, Tasmania if she can! We have a phenomenal dining scene down under, particularly in the apple isle! Tasmanian cuisine is so rich as not to be underestimated.
I agree with you!! Tassie is beautiful:)
I can’t wait to try this place!
This made me hungry and happy.. I live in a suburban area with no decent Middle Eastern food but went to college in DC where there was no shortage of it. Miss it so much.
I've eaten kabob my entire life but have never made it, I had NO idea it was that difficult and required so much technique and molding
Now I’m hungry!
And also, I just love Chef Nyesha!!
The finished dish at 14:00 looks amazing
DisheS, plural. 🙃
Love this. We focus on Texas foods on my channel, but I'm so inspired by these videos!
Such a nice guy and everything looks amazing!
That was amazing. I'm going there next.
Great things are done by,learning the history of the food from family, and keeping that history going on.the heart love understanding is in flavor is there.
THIS BEAUTIFUL CHEF SHOULD HAVE HER OWN TV SHOW!!!

Mini Kabob is sooo good!
Great camera work......

I LOVE MINI KABOB
Ordered for catering a while back it was 🔥
I am so hungry now after watching this 😂
Did no one notice when she licked the chicken marinade that the chicken is STILL raw 😳😳
And those nails! Ick!
I was 😦 I doubt she would get sick but she did it too casually for me
Yeah wtf
time stamp please!
Thank you Jesus that was weird
5:42 how you kept a straight face I’ll never know!
They got crazy chemistry on the low
Bravo
Just wish I could fly to LA to try this this instant
ahh Armin is the man!!
That beef lule is epic!
Yes sir
How to make those magic bread? That looks sooooo soft!!
Tasting a marinade with raw chicken inside it. Wow
Hey all, they taste marinade to taste if everything is seasoned to ultimately adjust if needed! Hope that was helpful!
with raw chicken in it ?????
You do that BEFORE you add the raw chicken genius lol
Can you guess what this raw chicken taste like?
I think she just tasted the marinade for the raw chicken? Damn.
Really interesting look into skewers. I am curious why there is the method of indenting the ground meat skewer? Is it to keep uniformity or help the meat brown?
Oh muh gaaawwd🤤
by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Depending on your lifestyle, it can be really hard to fill all that extra free time. If you want a fast to be easy, start it when you are very busy
Too bad this video didn't come with links to recipes. Wow that looked delicious 😋
Damn i want Nyesha
ARMEN GOT THE BEST KABOBS IN GLENDALE
Mini Kabob, have never been, but I follow their Instagram-account. Looks so so good everytime
3:04 did she just eat marinade with raw chicken in it? :X

This guy is cool
Good to see Shia Labeouf doing well
Kebab is Middle Eastern BBQ
But Has Two Root's
1 Levant ( Syria Lebenon)
2 Persia ( Iran )
Ahh she lost me at tasting raw chicken marinade
Salmonella 🦠 2 -3 Weeks Holiday in the Hospital 🏥
i wanna try hard
THANK you for affirming my dislike of Filet Mignon. Everyone puts it up on a pedestal but I can't stand how lean it is.
Agreed. Which is why I been going to this spot for ten+ years. They make what’s GOOD. Chicken thigh instead of breast. They also have a pork kabob that wasn’t mentioned here, which you can’t find at any of the other middle eastern joints in Glendale, which has a LOT of good options. But honestly Mini is the one I always go back to and the one I always rec. It is an absolute gem of a family restaurant. And what’s crazy is how tiny it is; one four top and two two tops.
How can you taste the marinade with raw chicken in it 👀
What’s difference between kebab and kebob!
Didn't realise Shia LaBeouf was a stellar chef as well
Sheesh, shush, and Sikh for kabob originates from the word seekh which means sword in Farsi
glad to see Shia LaBeouf went into kabob business
Are you guys hiring cause the editor must have had their grandparent editing this.
Mmm tasty raw chicken marinade lol
🇦🇲 🇦🇲 🇦🇲
ARMENIAN KEBAB THE BEST KEBAB..
Great video but why would you taste a marinade with raw chicken in it? That is just plain silly!
Pops has dwarves hands from the Hobbit
Trying marinade from raw chicken?
Did she taste the marinate with raw chicken.
🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲
She tasted the raw chicken marination !! It requires courage !!
I like how they take meat off the kebab. That means you are getting a good deal because you won't get as fat.
i'm the firsttt
2nd!
He looks like Christian bale
I would not taste that marinade that the raw chicken is in.
The way they vibe tho... pretty sure they had a nice dessert after lol
Did she taste the marinade sauce for Raw Chicken Shish? Don’t you have Salmonella Virus 🦠 in the USA 🙄
Puts raw chicken marinade in mouth 😲
Very tasty Persian and Turkish cuisine
No sir this is Armenian cuisine..
