I have this one and many more first aired "the library" saved on VHS searched far and wide for VHS recorder to replace the old one "Eureka" finally found one!! Still better than RUclips!! I've been fishing Everglades Glades City, Flamingo and the Key's all my life, I'm all most 70 now and still fishing them all. As I'm watching this I'm like oh yea the broken nose episode! What are friends for!!
I remember watching this much younger, glued to the TV. I had the pleasure of meeting Flip at a fly fishing expo on the Guadalupe in Texas. When I said how much I enjoyed the show, he said “so you were the one”. No, just one of many.
Thanks Flip..I was Tying some Gurglers and immediately quit tying to see this classic episode.....I remember the day I saw the episode 26 years ago....Nice Show Flip Pallot ....Hope Meet you soon
I met John Donnel back in the early 80s. One of the last times I saw him he had just taken delivery on an Action Craft and was very happy with it. That gave me the bug. At the time I had a no name flats boat. But never forgot about his enthusiasm for the brand. Ten years later, I bought one and still have it to this day; along with the original 90 Merc. Very cool to see John and Flip on this show. Great surprise.
Great video! Brings back pleasant memories of watching the show growing up in the 90s. Your show really illustrates the art of angling and shows a true respect for Florida that I in turn respect.
Flip, If you read this you should know... As a kid tarpon fishing wasn't an option for me. Bone fish? Permit? They didn't live near my street. But every Saturday morning you took me fishing. Walker Cay Chronicles. If you're ever in northern CA Drinks are on me...
Thanks Flip. You will never know how much this show made me and my father closer. We bonded over watching Walkers Cay Chronicles and Spanish Fly. I remember my pops buying the seasons on VHS and we would just buy a pizza and binge watch the shows when weather was too bad to go fishing or to the beach. If I ever meet you, I would love to give you a firm handshake.
Awesome stuff still to this day is just better than any outdoor show story telling is A+ Lol wonder if there was an episode in indian key I went there on the bay side by lagwaumananan key or whatever its called (30 years of fishing this area and i still cant get the name right 😂 ) any ways i caught a 10 lb mangrove casting deep in the mangrove line when i pull him out of the water no joke he had a long tail hanging out out his mouth it was a dam rat lol or the time a random tarpon jump in my boat not a tiny one either like a 50 pounder oh mannn the memories

I love how this wasn’t a tackle infomercial. This show was about men enjoying angling and telling a story about their adventures.
@@aaronhiggs its was ... Omg I wish they made a boxed set with all the episodes kind of sucks id rewatch them on the regular
