@@mamadashvili I think the goal is to keep the interior humid not sopping wet. So when it is covered after watering once, it should remain moist until you remove it. If it does look dried out, open and add a little moisture. But it should be good for a few weeks on its own.
use tender/green rose stems not woody ones. 6 inches long with nodes remove all leaves to expose nodes make a 45 angle cut under a node. use rooting Harmon/honey potting mix-soil 30% cocopeat,305 sand,20% garden soil day 1 -plant cuttings firmly. water well. keep in a but bright but shady spot A cool place. day 5-sprout -keep covered day 10 -new shoots not watered-keep covered day 14- 2-3 small leaves...not watered- keep covered( make holes) day 18- good leaf development .spray if needed-( once in 18 days!) 1-hour sunlight only. keep in shaded place-roots not yet developed. Or else cuttings will dry up. 45 days - roots should have developed. ready for repotting

It actually works. I planted the stems dipped in honey on July 22nd and covered them in plastic. I saw buddings in 6 out of the seven stems today (July 28). It only took 6 days. I am so happy. Thank you so much. 🙏😀
I tried it. Its working. Actually i kept 6 cutting. out of 6, only 3 cuttings has roots & it took 10-12days for growing buds. Must need patients to see the growth.

Great guide bro, rose plants are most delicate and unforgivable. They must be given great care. You've share a great guide to make the roots. Imo, natural honey is not natural in India anymore, they use Chinese sugar which doesn't get detected in fssai's tests, from Dabur to Patanjali, all major brands do it. It may result in rotting the roots. Better to use the rooting hormones. I got it for 50 Rs. from local nursery and its giving good results on other plants i have, haven't tried roses yet. Will try your method for sure. Thanks a ton!!

1. Covering the pot with polythene bag provides the plant with enough humidity so the plant gets sufficient amount of water without adding more water . Also it increases the greenhouse effect.

Plastic bag creates a green house effect

You can also use plastic drink bottles, ones large enough to cover of course.
Honey Rooting Hormone Side is the One where you have the Logo Sticker on the Brown Pot.
