I was there a few days ago and it was just amazing! Such a unique place. A bit smelly for sure, but I felt safe to walk around by myself, all the people was super friendly.
I have been there and I walked the are for one day. It is completely depressing .... but the people of garbage city are among the friendliest I met, worldwide.
Do they have showers? Could they use a community hygiene bank that provides them with showers, reliable clean water for drinking, sanitation products and housing as well?
realy ? i mean why the fuk u talk aobut religion dont get me wrong sure i empathize with them but i empathize as people it have nothing to do with them religion its not like egyptian gov forcing all christian to be like this they are just 6k out of 25m christians in egypt its not some sort of religious persecution
Break your heart? Why? They choose to do that. It's their job through tens of years. They inherited from their fathers. You make me feel that someone torture them
There are several nonprofits that work with them - if you Google "zabaleen" and "nonprofit" you will almost certainly find them. Thank you for the kind thought!
Gd bless you in all ways and thank you for being respectful to these hard working brothers and sisters. Some people make video's to degrade and mock Egyptians. They really do try their best.
We took Uber to visit the cave church and could not continue reaching there, our Uber opens the window to ask pedestrians directions and if we’re correct, I could not bare the smell, had to return back worrying thatno Uber or taxi will come pick us up, later I heard u have to go with a tourist guide. Really felt unsafe
How they can say at 0:43 no electricity and water there?! Can see very well there is and it is in the middle of the city, how come no electricity there :/
Just because they were born as Egyptian Christians in the 21st century they suffered this curse. Had they been born elsewhere, even in a 3rd world country like India or Greece, they would have had a better fate. Sad to see citizens seperated on the basis of their faith. What else they can do but convert? They will get a better life. There's no other way out. Thats why i guess, the copts and people of other faiths in the Arab world and in Central Asia are disappearing, the same way muslims dissappeared from Al Andalusia, and are dissappearing now from China and former Jugoslavia.
Basically it stems from the desire not to see their people shrivel up and die and just become another group of people who were snuffed out throughout history.
You forgot to ask how many genders there are. Lot's of them identify as the 57th gender. They also have a problem with people not respecting individual pronouns.
And people still think a god exists. Alway the most religious who live in the worst squalor. Absolutely disgusting conditions. Really made me feel physically ill.
Indeed, God does exist because you exist & I exist & all beauties & garbage exist. We forget that we're living on earth not in paradise & one who believes will be in paradise & nonbelievers in hell.

Is there anyway we can send them supplies and immunization?

I wish the people would separate their trash for them before putting it out

The narration says: "Until recently, Garbage city had no water, sewage, or electricity."

You forgot to mention -- they just have to live that way, as Christians (they are Copts)
So sad.😟

أنا أحب مسر 😘😘.
So these people are poor yet they have a lot of children. I don't understand the concept
Basically it stems from the desire not to see their people shrivel up and die and just become another group of people who were snuffed out throughout history.
its not poor man ..put him loved this work i work adoctor in cairo and there have money more than my
Having children is like having wealth. You think that way because you do not understand their culture.
That's where the pork comes from and fed to the tourist???👀👀👀 That can't be good.
This is a big humiliation to Christians/non muslims/ unbelievers 🙁

Just because you got your weird mental issues in there in the United States, that doesn't mean the whole world should be affected by this.

Why do I see so many edgy atheist guitar men on RUclips lately? Feels like a recurring deja vu.
They could do better
Christian should also do
