    "Basically Legolas has to marry a human" 😲 ooooo! Marriage of convenience is my favorite trope I think

      I actually haven’t read a lot of this trope but Fierce Heart is definitely top tier in my humble opinion. 🥰

    Fly with the arrow series is my favorite and it’s a Bluebeard retelling.

      Yesss, they’re all really good! I think most of not all of them are on KU still too, but don’t quote me on that. 😂

    How in the world do you find all of these books? I've never heard of any of these.

    • @sarahstangledtales
      @sarahstangledtales  Год назад +1

      Good old fashioned sniffing mostly, lol. I’ve found a bunch through author newsletters, Goodreads, RUclips, random finds on the internet/social media, blogs, random finds at my library, and just through scrolling through Amazon. And once you find one on Amazon they tend to recommend hundreds more at a time, lol. And a few I have no idea where I first heard about them, lol. 😂 So I’m just basically an indie book detective. 😜

    • @talesandtreatswithtay
      @talesandtreatswithtay Год назад

      @sarahstangledtales ah okay! I've never been able to find an indie book on my own before but I had no idea where to start looking

    • @talesandtreatswithtay
      @talesandtreatswithtay Год назад

      Also, how do you know if they're clean or not?

    • @sarahstangledtales
      @sarahstangledtales  Год назад

      I don’t always. I research a lot and a lot of the time if other authors mention them they tend to say if they’re clean or not or sometimes the descriptions themselves will say content levels. Reviews are helpful too though indie books don’t always get as many which makes it tricky. I also listen to my gut which may sound weird but it works for me a lot of the time.

      I really had to hone my skills on this, lol. Thankfully I love researching new books so it wasn’t hard. 😜

    Have you read any of these via audiobook? Just wondering if you had any experience with that because I'm particular about them but that's how I have to read right now

    • @sarahstangledtales
      @sarahstangledtales  Год назад

      No, I’ve never read an audiobook (I don’t process stories that way very well) so I can’t say though I do think most if not all (?) of these have one. Sorry I can’t be more help on this!

    • @talesandtreatswithtay
      @talesandtreatswithtay Год назад

      @sarahstangledtales that's okay and I get it! I used to be the same way but with a newborn I've had to adjust or I can't read anything 😅

    • @sarahstangledtales
      @sarahstangledtales  Год назад +1

      That would do it, lol! At least you get to keep reading that way.
