The dell.com EDA Journey and What Books Won't Tell You

This talk will present a comprehensive perspective on the EDA adoption. One that includes also the difficult business and technology questions that need to be addressed to successfully build and maintain a case for it. The discussion will use the context of how Dell Technologies employs EDA as integration technology to enable the customer journey, leveraging a massive, multi-domain IT Landscape, and our learnings in this process. We will touch the multi-dimensional problems to EDA adoption in an established IT landscape, ranging from business to design, operations and processes, which need to be considered. The key takeaway is that EDA provides unique opportunities and they come at a cost and with its own specific challenges.
