I am excited to watch this even though it is in another media than what I am working on. I have been working on making a light weight face mask, using papier mâché to keep it thin and light weight.
Tried pure papier mâché, but it has a hard time keeping it's form fit, so I tried using a plastic eye mask as a base, but it ended up way too thick. Now I am on attempt 3, having found a papier mâché face mask at the dollar store which seems like it will be a good base. It seems to be something like a cardboard paper towel.
Watching your art style really insipires me and leaves me feeling more determined in being able to accomplish and overcome obstacles!

Wuuthrad axe as a reference for the size, i laid both items on the floor in game (as that is a neutral size since, no npc or player is holding them) and got then as close and lined up as possible so if your axe is the correct size then so is my mask and all seems to be perfect!, i just got to paint it now, i cant wait!

Fantastic video as always, guys! Quick question; did you seal the mask with anything after your final weathering? I know you used the gloss before doing the weathering and shimmer, but any sealant after that stage? Thanks!

You've said foam dulls blades really quickly, does that hold true for band saw blades? How often do you need to replace those?
