They are smarter than a two/three year old child. It is amazing what these monkeys can do. They know that they we are all that they have and I hope that those who have monkeys treat them like family and not dump them back into the wild where they have very little chance of surviving. I know it's expensive to have them (food, clothes, doctors visits, etc.) but think of the joy and happiness they bring to a home.

I've read repeatedly on sites devoted to primatology, the monkeys can NEVER be pot or paper trained. Its just not physically possible for them.
No amount of training or whatever will ever get this macaque to potty train. Plus guess we shall see what becomes of him once he hits puberty!!
If only baby monkey Dam could have had this kind lady for his mother.
