I dont be commenting too much on yt or social media in general however, you are my favorite educator. The content you make is so helpful. Thank you Sean!
i finally get it. your explanation was perfect and clicked with me man. I always struggle getting rid of the baldline between open blade and #1 guard open. But i think i get it now🔥🔥thank you dawg
I guess it’s different ways to do it the fade underneath is fine but there is bulk right above it that needs to be dealt with and if you don’t smooth down and blend more in the vertical bar area the line up wont be crispy. Great tutorial love the channel
Appreciate this video bro!!! Really helps break it down, not even gonna lie I stress when it come to this texture and I’m gonna use this to help me master it!🔥💪💪💪
I jus did a clean one of these today. The 4 and the 3 guard aren’t needed bro! There to big.. Take the 2 flick out. Come behind that with the 1 1/2 flick out then blend into that.. I guess for a amateur that’s trying to play it safe this may work.. great tutorial though
I always go 1 1/2 open from the top of the sides then closed. After that I do my bald line and start blending. The reason I do that is because I knocks the bulk down instantly and time
The cut was almost done save for the all important lineup. The fade is fine, but for a high taper (which usually means no c-cup) the fade is too tight and compressed. This fade for a low taper would be perfect but for a higher taper with more space, stretching the fade out a finger or two would've suited this cut perfect. Mind you, in a real world barbershop, and not compared to the fake stuff you see on Instagram, this is a good haircut.
I think it's harder to cut a white guys fade then any other type of hair ? What texture is the hardest to you bro?? I've been to a few other barbers since mine moved an I can't find 1 that can blend the fade rite..hard enough trying to get them to give you you line up after the cut LOL
You are a great barber but i personally think its to blunt, needs a tiny bit more transitioning. But its still nice because every barber is different 👌🏽
It's good, but not a clean fade...using corners and clipper over comb is needed for curly hair. The approach is right on but can be cleaner. Just my opinion bro I luv all ur videos...been cutting curly hair for 20 years
This was obviously a technique tutorial video, not a FULL CUT. Just quickly showing how set, knockout, & blend guidelines. Y’all just commenting just to comment, showing that you lack comprehension skills 🤦♂️
@@Seancutshairfinally someone with a brain? Bro this guys haircut sucks everytime you upload him truth be told and u know damn well you didn’t go back and touch this side of the taper up. And you didn’t even connect it to the top smoothly. Learn how to take criticism

I appreciate that!
U can stretch high tapers out on black hair. When it’s too compressed it doesn’t look right
yeah its all bulky. Looks like the guy just shaved his sideburns off
@@Mike-hy8cs 🤣🤣 hell yeah
The point was just to connect into the top. Just a quick demo on moving through the steps
@@Seancutshair respect bro. 🫱🏾🫲🏼 I know appreciate you trying to break the barrier. That’s exactly what the world needs 💯💯💯

Yeah this was just a quick example to show how to blend in to the top
Appreciate this video bro!!! Really helps break it down, not even gonna lie I stress when it come to this texture and I’m gonna use this to help me master it!🔥💪💪💪
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
A lot of barbers don’t show these steps in their videos. Phenomenal breakdown 💯🤝🏿
Thank you!
definitely one of the best 💡💪🏼. Delivery, clarity of instruction, execution.🙏🏼💈
Have you made a video for straight hair?
I have a stacking guards video on straight hair
FINALLY SOMEBODY MADE A VID ON THIS
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Could you also start with a 4 for safety purposes
Yes absolutely
Good job bro, keep getting them reps in with coarse hair, you’re almost there
I can cut coarse hair just fine lol. This was a 5 minute demo on one part
Another technique I've always used go down with the grain as well.👍🏼
💯💯💯
Sean this was well needed ! I approach mine the same way never leave that bulk
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

That was the point to show the safest way possible but still connect 👌🏻
Great job dude!
Thanks!
Need this for a straight and wavy hair clients
I have a video on stacking guards on straight hair. Basically same process
I always go 1 1/2 open from the top of the sides then closed. After that I do my bald line and start blending. The reason I do that is because I knocks the bulk down instantly and time
Not a bad idea. Some textures you need to go a little longer though so you don’t lose too much of your transition
Yea Sean I don't know about this one😅
It’s not even finished 🤦🏻♂️ yal are killin me on this. This was 5 minutes just to show how to tie in to the top
Aye man am a big fan and I got a question what are your thoughts about the BaByliss LO-PROFX Low Profile Hair Trimmer and Clipper Bundle in 2023
The new influencer lo pro is awesome! One of my new favorites!
Been waiting for an updated video on this 🔥
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Bro this one ain’t it keeping working you’ll get there! 💯
Lol yal trippin this was 5 minutes of the cut showing one thing
I totally agree. The blend wasn't that good@@Seancutshair
You need to finish that blend 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 before ending the video
This was just 5 minutes of the cut to show one thing.
💯 smh
Am I the only who thinks this taper is mid?
It's barely faded, so I share the same opinion but I think it's more to show the technique than the actual fading
Nah fam
I don’t think he was done with the cut so he might have done detailing after he finished

Definitely super coarse Hispanic/Asian hair that springs out and won’t lay down
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Welcome!
Always doin a good tutorial bro.
I appreciate that
Great info! Thank you brother
Appreciate it
Thanks
Welcome
If the client in the thumbnail felt his barber provided the style and service they discussed, the FADE is A1 IMHO!
You guys are missing the point lol. The client wanted it blended, the barber wasn’t happy with the disconnection.
Thinning shears would definitely help that blend come together
The blend wasn’t finished just a quick draft. Showing how to use big guards to connect in to the top
None but that north side Houston Texas baby😂
🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Thanks❤👍🏼
You're welcome 😊
If this was just to show how to connect the top to the sides A+. If this was to show how to taper as well.. C-.
It was just connecting. This was 5 minutes of the haircut
I rock with you sean but this guy haircut wasn’t the same as the one you showed as example
wasn't supposed to be, it's a general demonstration
It wasn’t supposed to be lol. That was a cut my barber did, and the example was to show some techniques to blend in to the top
You are a great barber but i personally think its to blunt, needs a tiny bit more transitioning. But its still nice because every barber is different 👌🏽
It’s not finished was just showing how to tie into the top
Jesus this is what i struggle with so bad
Hope it helped!
Yeah the comment section is trippin lol this wasn’t a full taper tutorial. You know he detailed and put a clean edge up on him afterwards.
Yeah ridiculous lol
Tbh a lot of people including me like the taper disconnected it all depends on the person.
I try to make it blend a bit even if its disconnected.
@@Mike-hy8cs Yeah it depends on the client. Be careful though some people like me get their hair braided.
There’s a huge difference if someone is getting braids. The point of this was to show how to connect it
@@Seancutshair Yeah for sure some barbers don't ask lol
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Where is the line up
It wasn’t about the haircut I have other full haircuts on him on the channel

This was just a 5 minute clip showing how to tie into the top. I just moved through it quick to show the process
He probably likes it like that
No he wanted it blended and my barber wasn’t happy with the disconnection
But theres people who like it like that, they like to see the line, like the old mullet but in a taper
I agree but that’s not the point. Client wanted it blended and the barber wasn’t happy with how it connected to the top.

You need a lil more work on blending kinda got a little bit of line fading
It’s not a finished cut. Was just showing how to connect into the top.

Completely different canvas. Cut someone that has the same length hair.
That’s not the point 🤦🏻♂️
Definitely not the same as the thumbnail .... 2 different cuts
It’s not supposed to be. Did you pay attention at all?
Taper is terrible!
It’s not even a finished cut, was just showing a quick taper and how to connect into the top
@@Seancutshairyou should have mentioned that in the video so people wouldn’t assume different.
@@Seancutshairand you did give the impression that the taper was complete
