Thank you for taking the time to review the HJC RHPA 11 it looks like a good helmet and is one that I am currently considering. In your video you made reference to your RYD another helmet I am considering and I would ask how you rate that as it has a 5 star sharp rating and if possible which out of the Shoei RYD and NXR would you suggest would be better to get as a second helmet to my current Shoei Neotec 2 (I have this in gloss white) Thanks Carl
Shoei RYD over the NXR for me, RYD is a simply astonishing helmet. It’s not as sporty as the NXR but bar that it’s the same helmet. Fit is Superb, 5/5 sharp rating, DD clasp, fantastic Japanese build quality, RIDE recommended....I could go on. Even the venting is fantastic. Seriously. Buy it.
It’s a sports focused helmet so it isn’t quiet, but there is zero whistling or odd wind noise. But generally speaking it’s not the quietest of helmets. I use plugs 24/7 with all sports helmets.
