My first attempt at trying to make this khor tasted plain.. there many different ways to make this dish but overall the steps are similar.. instead of pork I used a whole chicken that I've cut into small pieces.. I realized that the chicken breast wasn't the best part and the wings and drums tasted better.. so my next attempt would be to try and make it like your video.. usually my mom does it with triple fat pork.. Rothana Bearng Thank you for sharing. I always used pork feet or bellies. From my own experience I know why it's plain. It might be the sugar was not caramelized long enough, too much water, not enough sugar, fish sauce, garlic, chick soup mix, and black pepper. I normally added more of the ingredients to give it more flavor.

You mey Ly I did a lot, if you are going to do a small portion, don't put too much water. Put enough so the water cover the pork.
