for number 2 keep in mind that you have to first pickup the metal detector from a random encounter on the main GTAV map, these encounters are marked by blue dots that appear on your map if you get close enough, there’s a few different encounters that you can get but I believe the specific one you need to find is a skeleton. Hope this is helpful for the newer guys.
The skeleton is lying face up wearing dark blue shorts with a short sleeve unbuttoned shirt with pink & teal palm leaves. Also has a hand drawn map of Cayo Perico in hand on top. You’ll be prompted to hit the D pad to pick up the metal detector and view the map.
My location was around 50 yards west of the Del Perro Pier on the beach by the water. Good luck!
And also you can mainly find them in the sewers! My one was near the LS car meet
8:00 You only need to kill three guys. Shoot the glass door, then headshot the guy by the reception. Turn left and shoot the bathroom door then headshot the guy in there. Then shoot the door into the office and headshot the guy behind the desk. Do the hack, collect the weapons and exit through the bathroom. Provided you don't break stealth, nobody else will react.
This is true I’ve done it that way many times or you can just kill the guy by reception the 2 standing talking just outside the other bathroom door and the other by the gun safe

It is possible that someone used the assassin quad that costs 2k from the facility and used it on him and the assassins teleported to a road of the air strip to reach him. The heli can randomly spawn if you get close to the compound and get caught. This may have triggered it somehow. This is my explanation and hope you can understand it. Those people are from the facility, they are like the mercenaries from Merryweather but worse
I assumed the same thing.
I have a few odds and ends to contribute.
1) Entering the hangar at airport causes any displaced El Rubio vehicles to return to their spawn points. This does not apply to entry vehicles.
2) Escaping bottom map and ramping a motorcycle into the water can sometimes damage your loot bag which costs money. This damage can be avoided by pressing the exit vehicle button midair to land in the water next to the motorcycle. The fall just damages armor.
3) Alternate escape route from El Rubio's office: Sneak past the first guard, and down to the bottom of those stairs. The second guard might drop a gate key if you kill him, and if he does you can exit out the nearby gate and into the front courtyard. If not, just fall back on the usual route. It's completely safe to kill him during the escape, as long as you don't accidentally select the loud pistol looted from the office safe.
Hey taco so I do have an explanation for the last one with the hit squad.
So first off during the setup missions , it's possible for a person to climb right to the top of the tower and parachute to the entrance of Elrubios compound. There u can find his personal car parked out front most the time , but in order to drive it , you must enter through the passenger side otherwise u get caught. But the MOMENT u enter the car , a helicopter icon shows on ur map. This is the same helicopter elrubio uses to kill you on cayo once u get caught. HOWEVER in this instance it doesn't take off , it just shows on ur map THAT'S all. So that's the explanation for the helicopter on his map , he must've parachuted down into the outer compound and triggered the helicopter icon , which if u get close to you'll get caught.
Secondly there's a glitch and I've JUST tested it an hour ago and it's still active , if someone calls a mercenary hit squad on you from their facility around the time you're flying to cayo perico , about 30 mins after landing in cayo perico , that hit squad CAN teleport to cayo perico and kick the shit out of you down there.
The whole situation was a mixture of an event that can be triggered on cayo perico which is the helicopter icon , and a glitch of the hits quad teleporting to cayo

For the Merryweather HQ mission, what you want to do is after you've finished scoping out the island, go to a new invite only session (with the Kosatka as your spawn location), and start the weapons load out mission first before any other set up mission, this is because you spawn in your Kosatka right next to LSIA and very close to Merryweather HQ in case you get that mission, leas distance for your guided missle to travel. Once you get one of the buildings missions simply fast travel your Kosatka to Vespucci Beach before going outside. Once you're in your new location go do the mission along with the remaining set ups.
Once inside the building you only need to kill the 2 dudes in the front foyer, the 2 dudes to the left in the main office and the one dude behind the computer, you dont need to the kill guys in front of the tv or the board room if you do in stealth they wont see you.

Before they added the ability to start a new invite lobby while in an invite lobby, the kosatka missiles was the fastest way to cancel the merryweather weapon mission. But now, just swapping lobbies is much faster.

If you want fun Cayo - do it with randoms. Try to get 3 players to join. Sit back and watch them try to do their own thing and then see who's still left to complete the heist with you. Only do this if you're bored and don't need the money - the payout will not be decent.

I spent a lot of time on the island a few weeks ago scoping loot, treasure chests, uniforms, etc, and after a while, a helicopter came out searching for me.
I got a warning I should leave the island.
I'm assuming I spent too long scoping the island 😂
If you spend a lot of time during a Scope Out mission, then El Rubio’s Valkyrie will start flying around the island. If you get seen by the helicopter, then you will automatically be sent back to Los Santos it was Vespucci Beach if I recall.
If you get caught 6 times they will kick you off the island too.
@@curtisweber5257 I did wonder how many it would take to get thrown off the island. I think the most I've been caught is 3/4 through stupid mistakes 😂
Another one: Most newer players don't know the limit of getting caught or detected by the guards. Staying out of their cone of vision is one thing, but when I first started, I didn't know they don't hear or see you even if you're right behind them or off to the side but still not in their cone, because you'd expect them to know you're there like it would be in real life. BUT, you can move around very near them and cut open locks and gates even with two guards in the same room if you have bolt cutters, for example. Testing the limits of their AI is worth it and it makes the game easier when you know, especially for doing anything stealthy.
You have to give it to El Rubio for given the deaf community a job.

The IAA hit squad has happened to me. I didn't take a picture of a helicopter or anything. I thought it was glitch or someone sent mercenaries after me. Cause right before a jet was trying to grief me and I ran into him with the Valium (which is a tank during the setup mission). But yeah cool to know I'm not the only one. It happened literally like 10 min after starting I was by the cliff where the grappling hook can be found sometimes. It must be random.
there is also an easter egg with an big whale being washed up on the shore near the destroyed houses you drive through when you scope out
on weapon setup mission you can only kill 3 guys near the vault and 1st one on the door and pick weapons and leave other guys don't even notice 😅..
While looting the lock ups outside the compound, the guards will hear you using the cuttimg torch to gain entry into the lockups where the secondary loot is. Even when wearing guard clothing they will sound the alarm. While in guard clothing and using the bolt cutters you can be standing right next to them and you will not set off an alarm.
Weirdly, if you're not dressed as a guard they don't hear you use the cutting torch, so it seems dependant on what your disguise is

Vidoe idea: u need 2 people for the mission. U will use the alkonist and plr 1 will jump out at the controll tower. Them he will deactivate the air defences. Meanwhile plr 2 is just gliding in his parachute till te air defences are deactevated. Them he will glise into the compound.
(The rest of the mission can be anyway you like)

You can skip the merryweather preps even more.
Firstly choosing any loadout diffrent than the one you used in preveious heist will reslut in you always getting the skyscraper mission
Example: using the marksman on first heist, and than conspirator on second
If you want the same loadout start the mission of the loadout and it will be the merryweather one. Fail the mission and then choose another loadout. It doesn't matter wich one beucase in the finale you'll have the one you picked before expolding the chopper
Exaple: You used the conspirator loadout in preveious heist and you want it again. Explode the chopper and choose agressor. Conspirator loadout will be selected
For #9 there is a faster way to do the mission and stealthy. Kill the guy at left of desk then turn left into the separate room and kill that guy then go through the door towards the weapons and kill the guy behind the desk nearest the weapons. 3 kills only and quicker. Then go back out the way you came.
To get the buried treasure you will need to find on of the dead smugglers on LS it will be a blue dot mission

Haven't seen your other videos yet, but did you guys know that you can totally ram someone with a car one the scoping mission as long as they don't see you. That is, you can flatten a guard totally, but he'll always get back up, impossible to kill. Quite funny though!

I do like to pick up the buried treasure if it’s in my route to tower mainly because it gives me the money I paid to setup heist back. I’m not worried about money but every little bit counts if your new players
If you open the bottom loot cage at the hanger you don’t need to pick up crate to get up top just drive the forklift forks through the bottom door then lift them up all the way and you can climb up over wall that way
when you’re getting the weapons for cayo prep mission and you run out of the building to see two helicopters coming at you, if you take out the guys with weapons and not the pilots, which is very simple with even a service carbine or AR, they will still follow you but they won’t attack you and they won’t keep spawning in more to shoot at you.
that goes for bunker delivery missions as well, any that send a couple attack helicopters after you.
I used to use the missiles to blow the chopper up. I stopped and switch lobbies now. Honestly not sure which is faster, but if you want to keep your kosatka’s position if you’re beached, missiles are the way to go.
I've sometimes had it that I see a helicopter icon after scouting out the island for only 10 minutes bilut not the hitsquad
When starting the prep work I’ve been noticing that if I either start my preps with the gather weapon mission first or park my sub to closest position to where the merryweather chopper spawns on the roof and start the gather weapon mission it doesn’t give me that mission and I always get the office building collection spots
In nr 9. You can go full on insane and clear the whole office with the stone axe, without dying
To unlock the MK II Weapons requires to own a Bunker (on sale that ends today) and you have to unlock the various MK II weapons by assigning your Bunker staff to Research. There are over 50 things that you can unlock from the Research and it is kinda random what gets unlocked including various MK II weapons and special ammo. The Equipment Upgrade makes it that your Bunker Supply will give you more weapons to sell or research. The Staff Upgrade makes that is shortens the time you use up the Supplies. The Security Upgrade is mainly to prevents your Bunker from being raided. If you get your Bunker above 40% full (over two full bars of supplies), then a Raid timer gets started.
I honestly believe that to just be a bug. I've had 100% of everything bunker related unlocked since it released new years ago, and everything that can be mk2, upgraded to mk2 and still have never seen mk2 weapons in cayo after doing hundreds and hundreds of cayo heists.
@@tinystar3010 if you choose the "marksman" weapon loadout you get the mk2 assault rifle and mk2 pistol, if you choose "saboteur" weapon loadout you get mk2 smg.
You can do the office weapons in full stealth with the unsilenced assault shot gun. You’ve got to headshot the first guy very quick while not going too far into the office, but it’s pretty funny they don’t notice you blasting. Oh, you have to headshot everyone and make sure no one else but the person you shoot takes damage. Sounds finicky but it’s pretty simple. Doesn’t seem to work with any other gun.
Tgg uses the mini gun kinda stealth in the weapons set up very strange
If u get marryweather hq weapon mission you can go to where avenger is and blow everything up before helicopter gets there.
The iaa hit squad prb is a bug bc it looks like the ceo headhunter targets
you dont need any of the upgrades in the bunker, just a upgrade station for mk2 weapons i guess, because i don't have the upgrades. the upgrade station can be found in the freakshop for example, where you don't have to pay for it. just do the first dax mission and that's it
In the facility with the AI at the desk that you can get snacks from you can also spawn in a different type of mercenary group but I don't know if they can attack you on cayo
The weapon mission you can always do stealth inside. I run with assault shotgun no suppressor, but 1st headshot everyone. They dont respond. Even if you shoot one of the pairs. Also the planning board you take a pic of isnt always in the same location. Then you literally just take one step forward and take the pic instead.
For the mk 2 weapons you just need a bunker I think I don’t have any of the upgrades and I get mk 2 weapons
For #10 I think the dude was in a public lobby and someone in it called a Strike Force on him from the Facility.

On the Merryweather gun set up fast travel to the last travel option
You have enter the building from the roof to stealth the weapons setup. Also if you own a facility and buy the security room then you can send a hit squad out on people maybe it glitched and someone could send it to the island of Cayo perico or a modder sent it.
My first thought was modder, but the facility hit squad also makes sense.
I have the security room in my facility and occasionally I like to troll lower levels just to see their reactions when I choose to spectate player after sending the hit squad. Some people try to fight the hit squad, some just drive away before they show up. I know it might sound mean, but I like seeing how others try to fight their way out of a situation like that.

So for the mk weapons it can’t be that you have to have a bunker cuz I had them unlocked before I had the bunker, maybe it jas something to do with how many times you’ve done the heist or something else but the bunker one can’t be
Same for me, they all unlocked on my second heist which happened to be in hard mode

Forget about the missiles on Merryweather HQ... the switch session thing is faster and you will bypass all that stupid animation delays that rockstar games is notorious for.
First, it depends on what version of GTA Online you are playing. It takes significantly longer to load into a new lobby if you are playing either the PS 4 or the Xbox One version. Sometimes if you load into a new lobby your Kosatka will literally be on the opposite side of map, so you have pay the fast travel fee to go to location closer to redo the prep.
@@NewKasutogo into private lobby. its the same any version. the reason why its slow on public is because GTA seems to need to access each player existing in the lobby and that somehow takes time.
When doing weapons, going in stealthy doesn't need a weapon with suppressor. The guards seem to be distracted with whatever. Try going in stealthy with let's say, your muzzle loader. You can headshot all the guys without triggering alarm. Guards standing adjacent to each other, just walk around and line up bith heads, but yes, any weapon dispite how loud they are can be used
You can drive a truck in Cayo Perico scope mission and drive it to an oil tanker near the hangar. It will create a huge explosion.
But don't alert the guards 🤣
One fact is that if you get spotted by a guard before you exit the compound as long as the alarm does not go off before you press right on d pad to exit the compound onece the cutcene is finished the alarm will not be going off
Cayo Perico has a campsite with a tent just off the road to the lighthouse.
The one with the iaa agents is possibly a pc hacker spawning them on cayo perico
To use the Mark2 weapons for the heist you don’t need to buy the 3 upgrades for the bunker, you need to either own the weapons yourself or research the weapons thru the bunker. I have no upgrades to my bunker just but everything is done researching.
You need to have access to different special ammo to be able to choose some of the weapon loadout. One of the loadouts requires you have unlocked “Hollow Point” (green) bullets from your Bunker Research. I think you need the “Full Metal Jacket” (purple) bullets for another weapon loadout.
I have mk2 weapons and i dont have any bunker upgrades but its only the marksman loadout
When you’re delivering a full crate warehouse solo and you’re using the Titan to make the deliveries then a Valkyrie is shooting at me and crashes me. Lost everything. How can I do this solo if that happens??

You can't shut down the cameras in the compound, but if you go into the power station at the airport you can kill the power to all of the cameras outside the compound by throwing a switch. To poison the guards, you have to find the cutting powder during the scouting mission and by dumping the powder into the water supply. This can be done by climbing to the top of the water tower either in the North or Main docks. There are three locations where the powder can be found. First by a shed on the east side of the grow field, east of the communication tower. Other two locations are in the main docks, either in the cutting shed or by a building behind the loot lockup near the water tower.

I usually do the poison trick, as my scouting pattern takes me by the three locations where the powder can be found. I'm not sure how much of an edge it really gives you. Also, while solo I prefer getting into the compound by going over the wall, Northside. Grappling hooks, bolt cutters, and guard clothing can always be found in and around the North Docks. The locations are random, not the same each time. However when found during scouting they will be there during the heist. There are a couple of videos out showing the exact locations that these items can be found.
Just did the heist finale and you can actually use the computer in the cayo perico hangar back room
for mk2 weapons you only need the staff upgrade in your bunker (i think).
Mk 2 weapons you just need the bunker or maybe the equipment upgrade I only bought staff and equipment no security upgrade needed
Shoot the door shooter in each helicopter and that will stop them from shooting at you. Destroy the helicopters new ones respawn
I have to disagree on the sparrow being a better choice then the MK2 but like always awesome video.
In the weapons mission you don't need silenced weapons to be sneaky. I always go in there with my minigun, and they somehow don't hear it.

At the weaponsmission u only need to kill 4 of the guys. The one in the Front and then go to left kill the 2 guys and then the one at the Desk. Everyone else dont see you so you can be faster with it
Actually if you walk down the road or get the bike by the fence and a guard is walking down the road from the first camera by the north drop..if the guard I walking there will be no guard at the tower..but if not then there is a guard at the tower

Doing the office stealthy you don’t even have to kill all guards if you shoot thru glass door and kill one behind desk then go in kill the one directly to the right then take out the 2 guards on left side in office area and one behind desk the others inside office won’t even see u
that with helicopter in the gather intel is real i saw the helicopter but not red but and not that security group

8:07 you can just eleminate the left side guard, so its 3 first guy, one in toilet, 3 guy in the left side. And the rest are ignoring you
i always get mk 2 weapons and my bunker isn't fully upgraded
#9- How to avoid helicopters after stealing the weapons.
1) collect weapons , head towards exit elevator
2) exit to roof
3) wait for both helicopters to spawn in and move towards you
4) re-enter building and open interaction menu
5) go to "inventory" then go to "ammo"
6) Purchase all ammo INDIVIDUALLY (it doesn't work when selecting "purchase all" for some reason)
7) exit to roof again ( if helicopter spawns again, repeat steps 4 and 5, scroll through weapons)
8) enjoy leaving without being shot at.
Not really faster for the Penris building, or for the Vespucci one, but for Schlongberg sachs it does prevent you from becoming a bullet sponge.
Or just do the easy way. Once you exit to the roof, wait 5 secs, let the two helis come to you, just shoot the gunners in each heli, then fly away. By leaving the helis alive, new ones won't spawn, and by the time you get up to speed and new helis would spawn, you're already flying faster than the game catches up. I always get back to my sub without a fuss. I can't imagine wasting so much time reloading that office and buying ammo over and over...
I just assumed the weapons were already MK11 when you steal them.
Number 9, I like to use the molotov's. I like to hear them scream and watch them burn to death.

How do you do the weapons mission stealthy?
Basically, you need to get headshots using a gun with a suppressor. As long as you get headshots you won’t trigger the alarm. If you know your way around the office it is possible to get the unmarked weapons only killing three guards (guard at entrance, guard in the bathroom, and guard next to the gun locker). Don’t use a shotgun with Suppressor.
You don't need silenced weapons to do it silently. If you had no supressor on your weapon, it would have worked the exact same way. Reason: Rockstar logic!

The Cayo tequila heist. Wish they’d vary the target abit more it’s boring asf. Or just include the Panther Statue.
It used to be really varied but since Rockstar nerfed the Cayo heavily, the targets are extremely weighted to low prizes the more often you do Cayo. If you wait 3 real life days, 72 hours, between paying to scope again, your odds increase again to a higher target.
