    I'm from Germany and came across your video. You're the only RUclipsr who draws attention to these problems! Everyone else is afraid to say something negative. The Aquilla 16 is unflyable outside. It vibrates and shakes like crazy. It's not fun, it's annoying... The drone is not a whoop drone... you can only fly straight with it in normal mode.

    Great video, I really appreciate the level of detail and commentary. I am looking to invest in an FPV Cinewhoop kit (new to the hobby) that can upgrade over time. Any thoughts on the new TinyGo 4k 1.3 (with ELRS) vs TinyHawk III Plus Freestyle HD.
    The TinyGo has what I need with 4k video, but the Freestyle may be more upgradable and is Digital (not sure I need this), however I would need to buy a action camera.

    I'm new to drones, I've had my Potensic Atom SE for a couple weeks, before that I've had a little Tomzon d15 mini drone i love to fly around the house, i just got this Beta fpv Aquila 16 kit and absolutely love this little thing..!!.
    I've never done this stuff before, this is my 2nd day with this drone, i can already fly it all the way thru my house, 3 doorways, and back to me on normal/fast mode ..!!..
    Love the turtle mode feature, I've used it a few times but so far i haven't had any bad crashes, just bumped a door frame or whatever and crashed it a few times, no damage at all and this thing flies so great..!!..
    I promised my wife this was the last drone, but come on, I'm just getting started..!!😂
    Cool video, i can't wait to take mine outside, I'm gonna wait until there's barely any wind then take it out, these things ain't cheap, I'm gonna fly this thing but I'm gonna take care of it and make sure i have it for as long as possible, such a fun little drone, and the combo comes with everything you need..!! Love it..

    Looks very similar to the DJI Avata. The DJI Avata had the same issue but it would actually fall out the sky if you turned too fast. It might be a design flaw 🤔.
    That sensor is way too small to get any dynamic range. Something will always be lost, either shadows or sky.

    Betafpv says the following: With a 1100mAh battery, it offers a flight time of 8 minutes and a maximum flight distance of 200 meters. For those seeking advanced flight modes like freestyle or racing, opting for a 650 battery is recommended. The stock battery is heavy, and 15C I believe. I'd like to see what it can do with the 650mah. With the 1100 at 15C, I think it is just starving for power in manual mode.

    I bought this kit after seeing just one or two reviews and while waiting for it to arrive, I watched a few more reviews and then I started to notice that the camera was way too dark and I decided that I would send it back when I received it but when I tried to start the return process I kept getting the runaround from betafpv. I tired of their endless questions and I gave up. I guess I'll keep it

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned 7 месяцев назад +4

      Is this your 1st FPV drone ever? If it is, this kit is still a good platform to learn. You can also easily replace the drone for another, when you outgrow it. BetaFPV did a good job making this kit affordable, especially compared to others. You can easily buy a 1s Mobula6 or even Meteor 65/75 for under 100 dollars.

    • @kukichkukichkin1077

      I would add the following: the Aquila16 copter is designed only for the BETAFPV Configurator and for the remote controller that comes in the kit, which means that if someone has another remote controller with ELRS, then you won’t be able to customize the copter for yourself in Betaflight and therefore not all modes will work . There is no boozer, the search for a copter is in question. For an apartment, you can’t turn off the air mode, it will stick to the walls and fall where you will disarm it in order to unstuck. There is also regular self-disarming, i.e. turns off whenever it wants. The quality of the fpv camera sucks even for an analogue one. The battery is detached when the copter falls or hits an obstacle. The design is beautiful, but the quality is slag. If to buy it then only as a kit, why would I need the kit if I have good glasses and RC. I just bought a copter and got these unexpected troubles. I don’t see the point in paying 350 USD for that kit.

    Hey @onemanunmanned I have bought this same drone , but do not have the 650mah battery. The company says to fly acro with 650mah. (Not the 1100mah battery it comes with) Maybe because it’s better tuned for it weight-wise for the lighter battery. If you can test me hypothesis that would be phenomenal. Btw I’m new to the hobby and chose this as my first drone over the emac tiny hawk due to cost and features. (That’s a two year old drone) plus this has the advantage of ELRS.
